it's beyond equal, it's better, because we are in control of it. Every moon cycle above and below ground growth equalizes, but that can never be offset as much as we can accomplish by offsetting it by ourselves. Make no mistake though, I am not saying we can grow a bigger crop by manipulating growth in such a way,,, but a healthier one, most certainly.

Yes the soil on top improves the clay below. I rototill, throw down some gypsum and compost spray the whole thing with tea and start piling. The roots chase the water in to the clay And the next year when you dig down youll find black earth with worms etc i stead of hardpan clay...improving the soil through mineralization and biology...

I feel like mines working just like it's supposed to, but always interested in comparing notes with other peoples!

recipe for mine is:
4 tbsp liquid fish
4 tbsp liquid crab
2 tbsp liquid kelp
1 tbsp black strap molasses
1 tbsp water soluble powdered mycorrhizae

All that is added in my rez and the measurements are per gallon of water.

My tea bag/s have the following in order from greatest to least:
Premium compost
Premium worm castings
Alfalfa meal
Natural feed grains
Bokashi

Sometimes i may add some of our composted rabbit manure if im in need of a little nitrogen.

We are currently using 2 of those 250 gallon caged reservoirs so we are only using 1 giant tea bag per res. later on , we assume we will be watering out of 2 1500 gallon pools. At that time, we will be using 5-6 giant tea bags per pool.

Another key thing we do is add as much oxygen as possible. for the 250 gallon res's, we add 1 eco 7 and 1 eco 5 air pumps to it with anywhere from 6-8 stones per pump. Later on we add more pumps/air stones as we brew larger amounts of teas. I let it brew no longer than 36 hrs. I try and feed around 24-30 hrs of brewing.

Would love to hear any feed back or maybe some other suggestions from others. Always love learning new things

Ok i will. especially because of the cost of the mycro. We just started using it for experiential reasons. i have seen great results tho adding it with regular water or nutrient. I will prob definitely add more air for sure now lol. its definitely a strong tea but not as strong as my nutrient feeds. that mix without the rabbit manure in it only reaches like 500-600 ppm's. But i made it go up to 1300 before by adding the rabbit manure in it. was great stuff and they absolutely loved it. My feeds are usually around 1250-1400 during veg.

What do you guys think? is that a good range for my ppm's on my feeds?

That pruning technique you use looks like something my garden could benefit from immensely. Could you maybe give a do's and don't on pruning like that? For example: do you trim every branch top, or would that hurt the plants? What percent off each branch is safe? It looks like you took about 1/3 off each branch, is that correct?

The reason I am asking is because in my yard I can't go higher than 6-8 ft, and I always top my plants. However I like to just top the main stem, then pull the branches down with green plant tape, creating an umbrella look. I think your technique makes more sense, and you don't have to spend so much time tying down branches. Also you say it helps with root growth, and my technique would not accomplish this. Thanks for the epiphany, .

Also, Veg, I remember reading something about you applying a Ca-B foliar. Can you post your recipe and what concentrations you shoot for on the Ca and the B? Are you adding any other ingredients to this foliar? I am spraying an amino chelated calcium, therm-x, fulvic foliar every couple weeks. Also using serenade or sonata with kelp every couple weeks.
