Nice plants!

Why is your water Blue?

Thanks! good question. The water does look a little blue. Thats just what it looks like through the translucent plastic especially with the sun shining. Just straight up water filtered through a tall boy water filter to take the chlorine out. Water quality is extremely good around here and they don't add toxic soidum flouride poisons like they do in most areas thanks to government goons. Only problem is the chlorine. The tds/ppm of only 30 is really good as most areas r much higher. Ive only fed the plants 3 times so far with a bucket of earth juice grow each feed. I should have got the Big Boy water filter which they just came out with catalytic carbon filters which do 50,000 gallons(20 tank fills) as opposed to 7500(3 tank fills) on regular carbon tallboy filters. I go beyond organic compared to what most folks r willing to do as far as im concerned. pure filtered water everytime. May hit with earth juice bloom a few times throughout budding season. that is it.

I keep it as simple as I can and the end product speaks for itself. While most folks can hardly unload their outdoor in harvest season cause of the flood, my stuff has always been in high demand. Organic is best period. The chemical growers r always scratching their heads trying to figure out why they r getting beat and cant unload their crap. The answer is way too simple and over their heads. I say the proof is in the smoke. :smoker:

Nomaad, sorry to hear about ur county enacting such harsh rules. Damn government goons. Bunch of control freaks that have nothing better to do than bother us, they just wanna give people a hard time and want something to bitch about. What a bunch of BS especially out there where the economy is really tough i heard. They need people like urself out there to pump $ into the economy. I can't imagine what it would be like without the green $ flowing into the county. The economy would be even worse, a lot worse so they better think twice about who supports the economy and spends $ in the stores cause if they run everyone out, the whole area is gonna suffer even more.:cuss:

Sierra...would you mind my asking what size are your pots?

800 gallon smart pots special order. 8 feet wide. of course u cant fit 800 gallons of soil in them but im sure atleast 700 -750.

The GDP next to the red riding mower and truck is in a 1000 gallon smartie for testing purposes. The 1000 smartie is 9ft wide and the GDP is as wide as the pot and super dense. this is a crazy strain that literally overgrows itself. best yields r achieved through constant fan leaf plucking to open up more shoots and budsites. some folks may argue agaiinst this but theres no shortage of leaf on the GDP thats for sure.

GDP is a vigourous grower for sure...i got a couple but didnt get them early enough, throwin them into 45s.......watch out for mold on GDP though a bunch of friends ran her last year and the denser tops get botrytis pretty easy especially if you are near coastal fog...

love your grow sierra...im using EJ grow and bloom too.....been hitting my ladies with the EJ grow in veg and they are loving it....too bad my plants look like midgets compared to yours!

For all those large marge growers using smart pots. im sure most of you have filled up your pots and beyond with canopy, regardless of whether its in a 200 gal or 800. how often are you watering now that the weather has been consistently warm and there is a lot of plant to keep hydrated?

I wonder if thats one reason Tom likes a bit heavier soil.Moisture retention? Im in ground mostly. The plants in the 400 gallon hole of fluffy soft soil mix, gets dry fast. The holes where i mixed the domestic clay soil with potting mix stays wet along time.

I like my pots to dry out fast. Shows me how fast my plants are drinking. A plant that's drinking is a plant that's growing. And a daily fully wet to fully dry cycle tells me that soil borne pathogens are on the run. They are drinking it as fast as I give it to them. Been cranking the dosage a little each day. Its good to see them cranking again after that unfortunate slowdown. a couple of weeks ago.

I couldnt run lights on my crop, because of neighbors. I have several plants that were in and out of bud this year.

I got so angry and discusted at a OG Kush full of single leaves today, I ripped it out of the ground(only 3 feet tall). I went through a big headband plant and stripped it bare naked except for the outer ends of the branches, It was full of little bud shit, and single leaves. Same with 2-4 LA confs. Good news is two LAs are kicking ass, a Panama just went over 7 foot, and the Maui and another Sativa were unfazed by the weather and are growing hogwild.

Hello everyone

The sprinklers are in, the first layer of hortinova is up, and the bark is going down. All-in-all, we’re very happy with where things are at right now.
