Ok, this is an Original Haze plant. It makes purple velvety sativa buds super high in THC.It has a pretty wild high. Its just starting to get going now. It should finish in November or December, and be plenty big by then.

Mesh netting

Mesh netting

Hey Guys

Had a question on the mesh netting with the larger sized mesh I see used by several growers.

Where might I find it and what is it normally used for.

My local nursery supply just has the smaller sized bird netting.

Been following this thread for several months and I am having PHENOMENAL results using these methods. Cannot believe how large the girls are getting. Never had to think about gardening with a ladder before......:jump:

Thanks to all the posters

Thanks. Found a source from Google.

I am running a Sweet Tooth as well and the plant is a monster. Super Silver Haze also seems to have a hair trigger for early flowering.

This year using the fluorescent's to extend the photo-period to 18 hours nothing has flowered prematurely. Today the light period will be dropped to 14 hours which should kick everything except the Arians Haze into flowering.

Best of luck

great plants, but when are they going to start flowering ?
Some of my OD plants are flowering for 1-2 week now and some are like the above still vegging.
Maybe 1-2 weeks to start them ?

BrotherGanja, for a first time outdoor adventure I actually couldn't ask for better weather.. The rain has come in decent intervals with lots of sun and high temps in between.. That's why I was pretty shocked to see so much mold so fast. And the particular branches that got hit had plenty of airflow between them, too.. As much as I've loved SWT over the years it's literally the only one I've ever had mold issues with, indoors, anyway.

Guido, if it's SWT #3 you're rocking please keep me/us updated on if it makes it through without mold.. I'd love to see someone get it going successfully because the buds should be like tree trunks in the end..

g0vna, 2 of out 12 of ours flowering so far.. SWT #3 looks to have started at least 2 weeks ago, and I didn't look at the one I noticed is probably a week in to see what strain it was.. Hopefully by the 7th we have some more flowering so I don't have to pull tarps over all of them for a week..

Botanical Bill: Last year I ran a Sweet Tooth #3 and a ST#3 x Deep Chuck/Bubba Kush, both produced beautiful flowers. This season, we're running some strong Sweet Tooth #3 trees from seed along with a unique strain of Sweet Tooth #3 x Calizarh... They are getting "BIG"... Extremely healthy plants and a great strain to garden and watch grow. IF the kolas turn out like "Tree Trunks" at harvest, I'll be sure to post a pic or two! Happy Farming!!!

Hey all, things are looking good around these parts, but the caterpillars are working there way into the garden. Anyone used the Dipel powder? It sounds like a good way to go, assuming even coverage, as it could be applied when flowers start stacking, so that there wouldn't be mold.

Finally got around to some pics. Not Tom or HL style, but not bad for a first outdoor.

What I wanna know is how the hell do you guys get rid of all that smoke one harvest season comes around?

Smoke it? HAHA BULLSHIT!

That's some serious weight to push.

I can't wait for the day we are all free to do what we choose without the fear of getting put in prison. Till then, these trees will have to wait for me!

MediNice those look great. I'm involved in my first OD as well and if mine were growing vertically instead of horizontally I'd imagine we're right where you are size/health wise on average.. We're very happy with our progress as well considering we're guessing on what strains work well outdoors for the first season.. Others definitely work well than others..

Someone brought up the Dipel question earlier which I know is generally the standard for nailing caterpillars.. However didn't I also see some folks in here that are using spinosad succesfully as well? I'm using spinosad for thrips and for some reason in my head I had it that I was going to be using it for caterpillars based on comments in here but I want to make sure I'm not crazy and mixing up my pest control memory.. So if anyone could refresh my memory I'd greatly appreciate it because I plan on going out next weekend to start caterpillar prevention procedures...

Thanks!
