'Election year summer' is of course 'BLM season.' Expect an unarmed black person to be shot (on camera) sometime between June and September.
They planted some early green trees there? Maybe evergreens? I´m not gonna look it up, but something like that.
Oh and big picture is from north side of the White House, smaller picture is from what they call "the south lawn" of the White House. Because it´s on the south side. So maybe north side gets more sun and warmth? Again, I dont know for sure, just guessing.. Maybe they are plastic trees, made in China.
