Yea, thats what I said.

You know, cause you heard nice things about it, was very successful, good cast for the most part that fit their roles.
Then it starts and yea its not bad. But then you´re two hours into the damn thing and its just character building and useless story with meaningless subplots and naive commentary about class struggle, rich vs poor with clear cut good and bad guys. All good if you´re buying it or are a romantic, but if you just want to get to the point; its just kinda boring and drags on.

And then they hit the iceberg and people start dying and it is pretty impressive, and that is worth the build because you really want to see some people die.
And then if that doesnt do it, the movie end with Leonardo DiCaprio freezing and sinking to the bottom of the ocean while still alive enough to realise it, just before the rescue team gets there.
And then you´re like damn, that was actually worth it.

So yea, Titanic the movie, kinda shit and way too long. But in the end most people die, so not bad. Sure a couple of em annoying posh old ladies make it, but they are old so they wont last long anyways. And leading lady survives even if you didn´t want her to. But she kinda had to cause she´s the narrator and thing. Movie wouldn´t work without her surviving, really.

Other than that, not too many movies that start out shitty and then continue to be shitty will have an awesome ending to em.
Home Alone 2, maybe.

I agree with Trump on this one, Titanic is kinda shitty until people start dying. Which you know is coming, because it´s a movie about Titanic.
Which was a pretty tragic event.

Totally.

Titanic would have been better if it were based on the true events surrounding the demised voyage.

Hey Three Berries, you asked about Stargate a few days ago. It is a very interesting topic. Would you care to summarize that subject for our fellow Speaker's Corner dwellers?

You and Three Berries are remarkably similar. It's almost as if you are the same person? :chin:

Logically, the Omicron variant originated from the vaccinated (no other way to account for it's spread to countries who only allow vaccinated travelers), but did it actually originate within the vaccine?? Is this another reason why Trump has promoted the vaccine? To spread a "cure" variant?

What part? Opened up for all citizens? Or, just the obedient ones?
Depends which State you are talking about. In NSW we have 95% vaccination rate as of today. Mostly obedient, so much for all the bullshit from the international press and bitchute.
In NSW, "For all people in NSW, regardless of your vaccination status"

In Victoria it's open to unvaxed. The only places you need to show vaccination proof is if dining out or getting a hair cut.

I wonder if the charges against Dan Andrews has anything to do with their sudden shift in policy...

"George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River, which occurred on the night of December 25–26, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War, was the first move in a surprise attack organized by George Washington against Hessian forces in Trenton, New Jersey, on the morning of December 26." Wikipedia

Note that this surprise attack on the British forces was a key turning point in US history and the American REVOLUTION. And, especially note, that Washington and his forces crossed the Delaware in Durham boats...
