I haven't really done much research lately. I've been busy just trying to keep up with the news and current events. But, after sharing Scotty Mar10's video-rama with Nirvana's Bowie cover, 'The Man Who Sold The World.' I started thinking a little about something that has already been occurring to me. I began to wonder if there is any connection between Bill Gates and the death of Kurt Cobain. The reason this occurred to me is that I had heard that Gates and the Cobains lived in the same wealthy Seattle suburban neighborhood. So, I looked into things a little. I know that when investigating a murder, one usually starts with a motive and asks "who had the most to gain?." So, of course David Geffen would be at the top, right up there with Courtney love and Gold Mountain Entertainment. So, I did a simple google search to see if Bill Gates has any significant public connections to David Geffen. Enter the rabbit hole:

Microsoft Corp. teamed up with Hollywood's new studio, DreamWorks SKG, to form a software company that will produce interactive and multimedia entertainment, both companies said Wednesday.

The world's largest software company, headed by billionaire Bill Gates, who generally is thought to be the richest U.S. citizen, also is making a strategic investment and will become a minority partner in DreamWorks, founded last year by Hollywood heavyweights Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen.

The joint venture, initially to be called DreamWorks Interactive, will be funded equally by the two companies, which are seeking a chief executive to head the operation.

The venture will focus initially on adventure games, interactive stories and other multimedia software for families.

The first titles are expected to be shipped in time for the 1996 holiday season, the companies said in a statement.

The venture will be headquartered in Los Angeles with a development and production facility in Redmond, Wash., the Seattle suburb in which Microsoft is based.

Several Microsoft employees will join DreamWorks Interactive as early as April 1, Microsoft said.

"Our partnership with DreamWorks will pave the way for extraordinary new consumer products," Gates said.

So, that was about it. The rabbit hole didn't go real far. Bill Gates wasn't Kurt 's next door neighbor. Far from it, he lived 2.6 miles directly across from Cobain on Lake Washington's shore.

Continued: So, it is very interesting that Geffen and Gates formed a super Hollywood production company and became business partners around the time of Cobain's death and even had the LA Times create a propaganda marketing piece denying it in advance (see: 'Streisand Effect', https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect ) But, it was looking like my search would not go very far beyond that. But, I did find this interesting article about the 'making' of Seattle in the early 1990s. Getting away now from Kurt Cobain, I started googling "Speilberg Trump." I found some interesting interviews that were assosiated with Speilbergs 2017 film 'The Post' which stared Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep. The film did very well and was pushed by the media and said to be highly relevent in this era of Trump. So, the film was "packaged" together with a coordinated propaganda campaign (with comparisons to Nixon, a disgraced president and neo-nazi. Note: Hillary Clinton campaigned for Nixon as a child.)
