I confess to reading only your response and not the article. I understand what you say about right and left; I find myself a mix but I think that what you say "Whereas, right wingers are now the party of tolerance, peace, and prosperity and the left is now the party of racism, censorship, oppression, war, and authoritarianism" is only a facet of propaganda very cleverly applied.

As far as the lefty ingredients in my make up, I believe medical care is a right which should be free to all. I see the right as violently opposed to this as they are to fairness to the disabled and disadvantaged. The right believes in a growing economy which is poisoning the earth. I believe in a resource based sustainable economy. I have advocated this for 40 years.

I'm also for universal single payer health care as are most Americans. But, it's a non-issue until corruption is vanquished in the medical industrial complex. There is no point in making medical care available to all id it is just a giant grift. Do you want tax payers to have to pay out $100,000 every time somebody breaks a leg or has a severe bladder infection, etc..? I (along with D. Trump) lean more socialist on that issue and any other issue in which we are talking about basic needs. I believe in a concept which I call "The American Standard." I believe that housing, minimal nutrition, energy, communications, healthcare (including dentistry) should all be considered a birthright. Any luxury beyond that, a person should work for. America could be in competition with the other nations of he world to have the highest 'standard' of living. This will raise the quality of life for all of humanity all around the world in a rapid way. Instead, we compete (with China for example) to have the highest production with the lowest payout to workers. It's a race to the bottom (slavery), rather than a race to the top. When Biden talks about getting rid of summer vacation for school children in order for them to compete with China, you can get a glimpse of their plans for us all. Trumps plan is to streamline medical care and costs (which includes doing away with much of the bureaucratic overhead costs) and institute a single payer system. He hasn't talked much about it because the COVID-19 situation is a sensitive part of revealing and then dismantling the corruption in medicine.

From my perspective your human caused climate 'stubborness' is stuck on CO2. You are excluding the phenomenon of co-mingling of gases, both covalently and non-covalently and the new properties formed. You have postulated deforestation and air travel as contributing factors yet seem to take a political - right wing stance. It is obvious the earth is all fucked up by people, yet you support a vile representative of the cause - a man who would not even care to connect with the lessons of nature; everything is about money-power - bullying.

I don't see how I've excluded "the phenomenon of co-mingling of gases, both covalently and non-covalently and the new properties formed." Care to elaborate on that? And, to clarify, I do not thing that deforestation is a contributing factor to climate change. I think it is a serious environmental problem which is exacerbated by the 'Climate Changers.' Climate change has basically replaced environmentalism. It is pretty much the only popular environmental concern and it is a total farce. Meanwhile true air pollution and other forms of environmental destruction have all fallen to the wayside. If I recall correctly, the 1993 Rio Earth Summit (scientists warning to humanity) listed many serious environmental emergencies that mankind must deal with. Climate change was not a part of it. But, in 2012, the Earth summit pretty much only focused on "climate change" and all media coverage that I saw, lied and said that these topics were the focus of the 1992 Earth Summit. May feeling is that scientific opinion should not be lumped into "left vs right." Science is a different "belief" system altogether. I think we need to do away with the idea of left vs right. It is an erroneous way of categorizing people's politics. I admit that I am guilty of using these terms, too though.

Lastly, your point about Trump, well I dare say his environmental record may be the cleanest of any modern US president.

no,i think no one is the least bit shocked about what's happening....0 out of 10 for the execution, but at least joe had the balls to pull the plug, even if he did it in the stupidest way possible it's done with....except of course for the inevitable terrorist shit that will no doubt happen again...but then at least america can do what it does best, drone strike the crap outta some civvies and some number of the actual targets...may as well make it a video game and get some use out of the millennials:biggrin:

I think I recall Trump trying to exit and the entire Deep State trying to stop him. What dirty tricks would they have used if he did pull out of Afghanistan? Trump also was not known to be much of a "droner" of civilians, ...that was Obama.

The Arizona audit report is due on Monday. Do you expect them to release ground breaking evidence on Monday, Hempy?

Maybe they'll have to hold off and review it for a while before they blow everyones tits off?

This is from the BBC, whether you trust tem or not, my guess is no, but anyway-

During Mr Obama's eight years in office, 1,878 drone strikes were carried out, according to researchers. Since Mr Trump was elected in 2016, there have been 2,243 drone strikes. The Republican president has also made some of the operations, the ones outside of war zones, more secretive. As a result, things have different today: under Mr Trump, there are more drone strikes - and less transparency.

I was expecting it on Friday, two days ago. I know they are supposed to pass it on to the Senate first. I'm not exactly sure what to expect. I believe we are in uncharted territory now. Nothing like this has ever happened. There are also lots of rumors coming out that Audits are already done for the entire election or perhaps just a few key swing states (I heard 9) and that the AZ audit was just to draw attention while the others were readied and that they are ready also. But, for the time being, I just consider those to be unsubstantiated rumors. I do wonder if the military will announce a national emergency over all of it (I tend to think they will). McAfee posted a lot the other day basically making it sound like it's all going down this week. I'm excited, it has been a long time coming!

There is a rumor that the military will shut everything down and has readied films that will play on repeat for days that will expose all of the declassified evidence that Trump set in motion when he left office. This would include all of the states secrets stuff relating to 9/11, JFK, and on and on...

Just rumors. I guess we'll see!:rasta:

I do find it very doubtful. I think we would have heard a lot more about this if it were happening. Even with all of the protection Obama enjoyed from the media, there were many antiwar journalists that covered Obama's drone strikes. And many of these journalists view Trump as just another Deep State oligarch.

Transparency is not one of Trump's strong points, not that he really has any strong points....

I think any president probably gets to keep their fair share of secrets though.

I find it very interesting that the source of the rumor (above) mentioned that the emergency declaration would be announced do to COVID and a sudden FDA approval and mandate (Redline crossed). And, now this news is coming out that the FDA is expected to give full approval for the vaccine tomorrow. Of course they aren't supposed to approve it and that would be a fraudulent approval. But, well... uh,... buckle up folks!

Surgeon General says FDA vaccine approval will likely lead to more mandates
https://nypost.com/2021/08/22/surgeon-general-says-fda-vaccine-approval-could-mean-more-mandates/

"The FDA’s expected approval Monday of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine will likely lead to more universities and businesses requiring the immunizations for students and employees, US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said Sunday.

Speaking to Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday,” Murthy declined to confirm the federal Food and Drug Administration’s plan to formally OK the vaccine Monday — but said his hope is that a “full approval,” as opposed to its current “emergency” one, would push more Americans to get their shots."
