Notice how they say, "Though the term has been thrown around as an accusation several times this century.."

They are referring to General Michael Flynn. But, they don't want their readers to know that it has only been used against Michael Flynn. So, see how things are coming into view? On Trumps last day in office he declassified the documents showing that John Kerry violated the Logan Act. Now he can be prosecuted (along with CNN??) Flynn incidentally, did not violate the Logan Act.

You know there are no teeth in the Logan Act.

Violation of the Logan Act is a felony. Only two people have ever been indicted on charges of violating the Act, one in 1802 and the other in 1852. Neither was convicted of violating the Act.

Absolutely! Long before Trump entered politics. I realized that the military is the one and ONLY hope to stop such an entrenched conspiracy. I just figured that that would never happen. I did pray though.
