Hi, here is the cab today, we are mid heatwave but they are putting up with it . Once again you will have to ignore the tray of BDB F3 seedlings which will have to be moved out soon when these 4 are put into their final pots. Vegging well.

in other news i put a mesh screen on the intake to counter fungus gnats.

What if I refuse to ignore the tray of BDB F3 seedlings which will have to be moved out soon when these 4 are put into their final pots? 🙃

Plants are looking great man, I think the 2 weeks of extra veg will make them the perfect size to fill up the cabinet.

Thanks @BeAn v.2.0
and @revegeta666 - i will be documenting the BDB here in the BDB F3 thread.

And thanks @Jahaze yesterday was the hottest day on record in the UK and it felt like it! - cooling down a bit now.

in other news @drosera420 i tried to take a pic of the Phlox showing the blue/mauve colour change in different light :

Hi again, here is the cab this morning, 2 days into 12/12, just before i dived in and started wrestling with the plants..
cabflip.jpg

as i suspected they are rather over-vegged... but i have tried to prepare for this by vegging them on 16/8.. and rooting them into the big pots, in order to hopefully reduce the stretch. I have a few inches height still to be had by raising the light onto hooks.
Unfortunately it is also school holidays so i can't spend that long tending to them. I went for the 2 Contra D first (which are bigger) and have staked them and tied them down a bit.
To be continued...

OK, so managed to raise the light this morning and have staked the plants... the stems are quite thick and not that easy to bend them too much.. but i now have a foot or so of space so there is hope that i might get away with this! light has gone up from 50% to 75% in a couple of stages over the last few days.
cab: i still need to tidy the fan wires up .

I'll pull the plants out at some point soon but for now some close ups. pleased with how they are growing under this MARS FCE-300 and in the soil (which i made slightly lighter than usual because of the very big pots.

the cab is looking really good VG. those plants look happy and healthy. once they start budding heavily its going to be ultra dank in that space. :canabis:

Thanks @Jahaze , i'm pretty pleased with how it's all working.. except for the potential over-veg, but my other choice was flip to 12/12 too early or flip and not be able to touch the plants for a week.. ive pushed my luck in my cabs over the years and mostly got away with it lol so fingers crossed.
But that's just this run, the cab should really expand my options and capacity going forward.

Nice work VG and the cab is terrific. It’s a bit bigger than usual. Great stuff.
