Hi all, there is stock of the BlueDigiRhino
and the Gorilla Vs. Rhino up at seed boutique/bay
:tiphat:
Also you may remember that i had replaced my Ruck/CanFan temperature controlled fan with a new (different) one at the beginning of the thread.... well the new fan only lasted a day and was removed because the speed control on it made a loud buzzing noise (basically a dimmer switch controlling the speed and a temperature probe) and i put my very old CanFAn back in. I tried hard to buy and new Canfan RTE 100 to replace my old one but they are made in the EU and you cannot get them in the UK any more (thanks Brexit... don't get me started)
anyway i eventually managed to get one from Germany and had it delivered to an address in France and then went to pick it up ! -a lot of trouble but that is how good these fans are imo..
They have 4 separate wire taps giving 4 speeds and a temperature sensor - so it will change between its 4 speeds automatically without making a loud buzzing noise that most speed controllers make.
so now i have a new one and my old one can be the spare:

hi all, just thought i'd update on what i;m doing. The cab runs pretty much all the time but often i am making seeds in there and that doesn't always make for photogenic plants! - so i tend to document them in my 'boutique breeders' forum.
Atm i am running 7 Contra D (C4DDD) Females and making F2 seeds whilst removing the streaky/stunted genes that appear to have segregated into a quarter of the plants after the last back-cross. This was done at seedling stage and the remaining plants used to make the F2s.
I topped all but one of the plants and kept a bud unseeded so that i can evaluate the smoke - something i am very much looking forward to. The plants reek of chem funk dankness. Burnt rubber, brussels sprouts, sweat, garlic, pine, with some citrus in one or two of the plants.
here is a cab shot. these plants are pretty much done and will get harvested in the next few days.

and a few bud shots.. they stink so much i don't like taking them of the cab !

Plant 7 was the only one not to be topped because it was the least vigorous. Still pretty good but the big cola flatters it..

Plant 6

plant 6 with a seeded bud on the right, as you can see they aren't quite so pretty when seeded.

and plant 2. This one has a zingy citrus edge along with the chem.

i'll get some pics of the other plants tomorrow.
here is the main thread that documents the Contra D F1s and this grow.
