This guys right, everything really sucks here. But eastern oregon is where its at if you must move here. Far east like Malheur county. This goes out to everyone looking into Oregon

Really? I thought eastern Oregon was more "conservative" than western Oregon? Maybe I heard wrong.

HB.

Chiloquins friendly or not? From the replies i cant tell if your being sarcastic or not. Just tired of the bullshit in cali ive lived where am at all my life and dont wanna move but the damn local bos and government/cops got this brilliant idea to ban outdoor pretty much from sacramento north is banned except a few counties and where its not banned the housing market has sky rocketed for that simple fact. And honestly i remember i used to get mad at out of towners but damn haha cut a mofo a break hahaha. Thanks

Thats gnarly you do the backpack stihl. Does that take a long ass time? Organic thats even gnarlier you use an atomizer. I had a 20 gal sprayer and switched over to a 50 gal with 120 foot of hose just recently. I'd probably just skip foliar all together If I did it with an atomizer..hats off to you man, thats serious dedication.

Yea it takes about 2 hours with the stihl to spray about 30 gallons, not too bad. The atomizer is good for small plants in june or in the GH.

Starting next year every medical grow will be subject to inspections. You will be required to keep books on your plants, harvest and where the harvest went. They are also capping each address at 48 plants.

^ that doesn't sound to bad. No wonder people are flocking to Oregon. I wonder how long it will last until it gets F'd up!

Epic- I've never ran one of the gas powered stihl sprayers.... There must be a way to adjust the power of the blower, or maybe you just have to stand a certain distance from the plant to avoid damage?

I've only used the non-gas stihls that you have to pump with your hand. Its not fun, and not very efficient. I've been wanting to try out the stihl gas powered sprayer- and if you say it works and your sticking with it for years to come- Ill take your word! Your garden looks very professional!

Thats not to bad. Shit there serving inspection warrants and criminal warrants daily making everyone chop there stuff down where im at. Anything is better than that.

Fuck yea that's an epic orchard indeed! Nice work man.

We top about twice and then super crop before transplant. Then tons of LST through the cages. I always figured that plants are like a solar panels so I'd rather have a wide flat surface that gets full sun all day. Seems like the sides of tall plants see a lot of shade throughout the day.

I topped the shit out of my plants too, but I'm not totally sold on this concept..

I saw 3 guys in one of those "Donk" looking cars (I think that's what they call them) pull up to the market near my house. It had Alabama plates and was filthy from the cross country drive. They had on really nice clothes and shoes that were now stained and dirty as hell from working in the garden. I couldn't help but chuckle. They were all very polite and I caught the vibe that they knew they stuck out like a sore thumb.

You will have to be an oregon resident for two years for recreational and medical To grow here.... This is under the medical section of the new law....

(b) Proof, until January 1, 2020, that the person responsible for the marijuana grow site has been a resident of this state for two or more years, and proof that the person is 21 years of age or older;

Thanks for the reference, I knew I read it somewhere. Also all patients must be from Oregon as well, no out of staters.

I read the new law, and didnt see anything about onsight inspections. The paper work is gonna be a pain in the ass. Edit: nevermind I found it. I think im gonna try to go rec, medical gonna start being a real pain come march 1st

the bans and this kind of enforcement is going to follow wherever the majority of black market growers congregate, unless you are in a very entrenched and dominant county like humboldt where the voters would never ban. however even those counties are facing big hurdles with upcoming legalization initiative, water board permits, etc….

HL45 can you link the article or pm me what to google for the 2016 regulations. All I keep seeing is the stuff from April and may about the sb844 and stuff that was going on then.

I was going to start a ommp thread for the Oregon bros to help inform each other but figured it would turn into more of a FAQ for people looking to move here.

Hope your game is on point. You will be competing against big dog established growers with access to millions of bank money behind them. I already know of on site being prepped with 40 100' houses being built. Recreational isn't for the small grower.

HL45, do start a thread please. I'm curious if the rec is going to be a lottery? Haven't read anything in a while.

Epic, whats in your soil dude? I mean analysis specifically.
