Have you ever bought worms and just dumped them into your beds? I was thinking about doing that for the outdoor pallet planter....

Yes that exactly what I did when introduced worms in my pot they will multiply and jeep their numbers regulated however if you make homeade vermicompost they will find their way into your pots if you plan on buying just but a hand full roughly 20 worms per each pot and you will be good to go

glad u got a decent female (worth re-vegging) hope it does the trick for u.
what is the smell on her like?

I have a bunch of Avi's cuts in my backyard garden that my ducks and chickens pooped on for 6 months, we tilled it and I have monster tomato, zucchini and cucumbers along with lime cookies bubba, purple paki diesel, gg4, and?? Digging up one tomato plant to gift to another person, it was filled with worms.

I highly recommend chickens and ducks for your garden :)

One day I'll have to try that lime cookies bubba. So many fire ass strains and there's never enough time or space. Isn't that Mikinite's cross?

ya its a MN69 cross, truly fire. I'd smoked on several ounces of a special pheno from his Lime Cookies seeds grown by a pal out here... this is similar for sure but more kushy for sure the bubba coming thru, more berry undertones like some of my favorite bubbas from my past.

How did everything dry up? How you doing avi?

for being so arid where im at.... dried slowly. had a spell of HOT HOT dry weather just before harvest (last 2 weeks), then almost as soon as i cut the weather switched to cooler and wet, lots and lots of rain, very unusual season where im at.
so the slow dry was nice.

all good here... trying to get next round in order, doing lots of work on some outdoor projects; consulting for others. also trying to find a better place to live and grow, rent where im at is kinda high... nice space tho, but i can do better i think, maybe even purchase.

I usually have the opposite happen when I harvest. It'll rain, then i'll chop then it is Dry city. Quick drying foolishness.

Keep trying to buy but keep getting out bid by higher offers or cash! Yeah I have 120K over asking price!! Ha.

Like my rental. But it isn't mine. and always have the impending move on my mind.

Back to work for me. Setting up a new room. Windows + floors covered. Found honeywell fans on 'zon for $13!! Hang lights next.

No thread for the new bloom room. Just the two in the signature (outdoor & the tent grow-both current) and then some odds & ends in the test grows~new varieties section-- nothing special going on with those, just pictures & observations from outdoor.

Still need to buy/borrow couple more lights, pots & trellis set up for the new room.

had some issues in the room last week; i think it's foliar feed / ipm related.
i sprayed neem oil... then sprayed "pest out", and essential oil blend... containing garlic oil (wettable sulfur?) just after cloning (took tops & bottoms). i THINK the neem & garlic oil combined on the surface of the leaves (and probably in my sprayer aswell, didn't fully clean it in between uses), and caused some light burn or photo-toxicity or something. saw leaves curling and turned yellow, some of the larger leaves just withered and died.

at first i thought it was something to do with my soil;
but smaller plants in smaller pots of the same exact soil in veg are doing fine.... none were sprayed (honestly i did mix the neem and pest out and test it on one plant, a dieselrella x ogk plant in one gallon pot, it shrivleled slightly and lower larger fan leaves died, new growth is slow to come on). i'm pretty sure its not soil related, and is foliar spray related.

I did some reading about the pest out (saw it contained garlic oil) and vaguely remembering something about NEVER mixing neem and sulfur (still tho cant find WHERE the hell i read that; about not using neem and sulfur).
still could be something else, but the affected plants look like they are pulling out of it, putting on fresh new growth up thru the trellis net.

neem n a lot of things sprayed directly before or after can be phytotoxic. especially things that's mode of action is ph driven. such as fungicides, like sulphur, baking soda, or potassium bicarbonate. the neem oil acts like a magnifier to the ph driven treatments. 2 weeks apart from any of these and a neem treatment.

I had/have the same problems using neem oil with a little dish soap. My partner has/had been spraying with the lights on, and not washing them off (the tops of the leaves) after they dried a bit. I caught it a bit too late and some plants are fine, but our gdp didn't like it at all. Lots of withering and burnt leaves. I'm thinking the oil and soap are partially suffocating the cells of the leaves and making them look burnt but I'm not positive. I'm pretty sure we set em back a week doing it, but now if and when we spray, it's only during lights off, and we give them an hr to dry and rinse the plants with water.

Rosemary (from what I've read, and the sns 209 I've used) is pretty good for pest management. Smells good too but I guess the bugs don't feel the same way. On the plants treated with the sns 209 I've noticed a big difference in mite populations vs those who didn't get it. The treated ones are the best plants with the least amount of damage by the borg. Just my $0.02. Ymmv. Keep em green man.
