She's drying now and will be added to a batch of Cannabutter if that makes you feel better that she didn't go to complete waste :smile:
I do know a few growers and I would have loved to gifted someone. However, I then would have given away the secrecy of my grow
Last year I gifted some Tangerine and Passion #1 clones...but it was spring so I had the excuse I was getting ready for an outdoor grow. In the dead of winter I got no excuse for having 40cm plants
I would have more than loved to gifted it to you, but you know how unreliable Canada Post is some hoser woulda snagged it eh :smile:

^^^ Seems the temp. corrections and increased feedings are helping Hempstar sort her lockout issues. You can see the newer growth is starting to normalize She's not stretching (like I knew she wouldn't) so it seems I'll have another stout Hempstar bush.

Was -42C when I took the dog out for a walk this morning but, it was 25C in the growroom. So I smoked a fat Sugar Bear joint, threw on a t-shirt and shorts, grabbed my guitar, and sat with the ladies and serenaded them :smile:
It was nice spending the time with them

Hempstar comes highly recommended. Dutch Passion is a little on the expensive side, but the genetics are worth it I'm sure you could find a NL#5 X Haze cross that would be a little lighter on the wallet too.
I'm still amazed by the minimal stretch I get with Hempstar, being that it's a Haze cross. Maybe I just havn't found that stretchy/Haze pheno yet The taste is undeniable Haze though
Just a warning...Hempstar is a potent bud. It'll make you lazy! clear your schedule when smoking it. I like it for night caps and artistic inspiration the best.
I know as Canadians we're not supposed to complain about the cold, but holy good fuck...I'm freezing!
I took a trip to Blue Mountain last year for some skiing. I saw all the people snowboarding and I was tempted to try...I didn't though because I didn't want to spend half the weekend on my ass

Glad you're liking the photos. I have a dinosaur of a camera I bought it when digi-cams first came out. It's a Toshiba PDRM71. It's 3.2MP, which was huge then I do like the colour balance on it though All those shots are under HPS and flash.
Yeah...I was chuggin along the melody, BB-1 hit the 3rd, BB-2 pulled her panties tight and hit the 5th. Hempstar was still a little off key, but I'll have her practicing scales and all tuned in next week
Had to breath through my mouth there yesterday morning, everytime I tried to breath through my nose, my nostrils just sucked together Even with the balaclava on. Friggin dog loved it

This is my second time around with BB, and I consider myself a pretty reserved feeder. I don't really think it's too much nitrogen. Curling leaves or clawing seems to be a pretty common trait amongst certain BB phenos. I recieved this one from clone, so I have no others to compare it to. I can tell you it does produce some kick ass bud though
Last grow I fed it nothing but water all the way through because the "claw" concerned me. This time I plan to feed her lightly.

It is very cold yea. Something like -28 celcius last night..
But it's good to have some cold, i hate a piss warm, wet winter.
Rather curse the cold then have wet socks all the time.

Alex - I'm not seeing quite as much frost as early as I did last time...but they were a little slower in the colder temps to start budding up.
She's an early finisher...I think it was day 54 last time and I could have taken her around 48. So hopefully we won't hafta wait much longer to see some densening progression and serious frost production

Yes, the claw is a trait of some BB phenos. If you research BB here on IC you'll find quite a few under BB mutants topics. I was gifted this one, so it's all I got
Definately go for the BB. It is very potent, an early finisher, decent yielder, and has a nice blueberry/fuely taste and smell

I done messed up

Seems Hempstar-3 is not Hempstar at all I repeat...Hempstar-3 is not Hempstar at all
The other day I was bending over her, and I brushed against her and she released the unmistakable rotten pumpkin Passion #1 odour
I musta messed up the beans in the paper towel, or when I labelled them on the cups
I wondered why it grew so much differently than the other 2
Really bums me out now that I killed that beautiful true Hempstar lady now but...I still do have one Hempstar left

so it's Passion #1 that is being flowered with the BB now. Surprise, surprise

The benefits I see in this is an earlier finish. I'm wondering why she didn't stretch too much though, I remember P#1 being pretty stretchy.
I'm sure I'll lose out on yield and potency. I do like the buzz with the Passion #1, by no means is it "mild"....and it's one of my all time favourite tasting buds

I am going to be starting a new thread within the next couple days. I'll make sure the link is updated in here and my signature when I do.
