Cool pics Ga looks like everyone had a great time atthe party ,even if some of you was abit worse for wear.Ga have not thought of putting some holes in the side of the pots ,and tieing some branches out .As that would open them up more letting more light to them ,so they bush out more .

And it would help them against the wind , as it will just pass through as they are more open .So its not like its just hiting a brick wall, or a big bush . Still what am i going on about ,telling you this lol.

Me saying all this to you ,with all your exp is like me trying to teach a chicken how to lay eggs lol .

Its just i like to spread ours out more, I just thought looking at some of them , as they are top looking plants ,some could do with just a tad tieing thats all.Cute lady bug the only way is up lol .

I hope you movedt he snail and his home to a better place .

When ever i leave my m8 house at night ,there is always loads of snails on the floor and its dark. That is when it rains and thats alot here lol. When you step on them its nasty sound and feeling . i always feeling guilty about wreaking a home ie there shell .But by that times its to late ,as when you hear it go u know they are dead poor things .

Hello world,

Hi HR, Core,

Thanks for sharing...

I am so excited (since Kimm Wikde, lol)...

In the beginning of august the Canna Embassy is receiving some international friends.
So I decided to organise an "International Friendship Beach Party" at Beach Club the Karavaan in Scheveningen and all friends and viewers of this forum are invited!!
Dj's will play there and a (surprise) special guest dj...
If you play an instrument, please take it with you, because wellknown and less wellknown musicians will have jamsessions that night...
I am not dropping names, because when I do a lot of groupies will come of that certain musician, or dj and I like the party to be mixed as possible...
Don't expect anything and you will be surprised!!
And you can count on it: I will dance my balls off!!

By the way, there is no entry fee, you only have to pay your own drinks.
The party is at the 4th of august and starts at 8 pm.
Noorderstrand (northern beach) Zwarte Pad,last stop tram 9 en 1.
Follow the road up over the parkinglot. When you see Bike Watch at your left hand site you go down.
Downstairs to the right and after 50 meters you have Club the Karavaan on your right hand site.

Today a friend of Canna came by to drop some more Bio Canna Vega..
Perfect timing..
The sun is shining again today and you can see the plants are getting better now every day.
After all that rain! It just flushes the ferts out of the soil.
When it's going to rain heavy again I will put some plastic over the soil, so the rain can not flush the fertilizer anymore.

The forecast for this weekend: Over 30 degrees!!!!!

Catch you all later folks....

Take care, keep on growing (yourself) and stay safe, wherever you are...

Peace, G.A.

Looks lovely that lady...
I can only tell you that I get more support then I expected, again a proof that it's the best to expect nothing... lol.
As you can see the plants are bathing again.

Looks like everybody is on holiday.... lol

I have some additional information concerning the Canna Embassy International Friendship Party at the Karavaan at the 4th of august.

As you know there will be ofcourse a lot of smoke at the party and probably a lot of people..
But there are also some friends with kids and family (like my parents) that can not make it late that night and for some friends just to avoid the smoke for their youngsters.
Those people are welcome from 7 till 10 pm.
More peacefull and chill music and time to jamm.
Albert is one of the musicians that will play some classic and modern music.
At the birthday of Xaviera he was great.
It was so quiet when he was playing, you could hear a needle drop...
Looking forward to the party and all my friends....

Peace, G.A.

hey Darpan, great idea, De Karavaan party! I can't wait to be there to dance till I drop!

In the meantime, here's a pic of a typical Polish ruderalis plant currently growing on my land. Since I'm not growing anything this year for some nice good reasons, I might as well post this one.:D

See you soon Darpan, Esben!

Hi Kov,

Nice Ruderalis going wild there!!

Latest news....First clear sign of the whitch hunt..
Today the city counsel of Rotterdam gave green light to shut down 27 coffeeshops that are closer then 250 meters from a school.
Some politicians question this aproach, because kids have to be 18 anyway to enter a coffeeshops, so the school yard becomes a place again to hang and smoke after school...
The pressure in the streets gives more trouble, the prices get higher and the scene goes underground again...

Me and the plants love the sunlight...
The Morning Glory is coming back also when the sun starts to shine again.
The last couple of days was enough sun, so the plants are recovering after they got some more sun and
Canna Bio Vega.
Catch you all later...

Peace, G.A.

edit: The 27 coffeeshops will bring the case and the major of Rotterdam to the court.

My my my Esben, is that lettuce or cannabis?!? :nono: What a giant leaved bush that is...

G.A., not on holiday anytime soon, but I imagine just sitting on your roof-top terrace will feel like a holiday after all. Lookin' good!

The Rotterdam city counsel has gone completely ignorant by accepting these kind of measures. I totally agree youngsters shouldn't smoke too much, but the yearly number of traffic deaths never caused anyone to consider prohibiting cars. Okay, it may be a crooked comparison, but closing down a number of shops won't make demand vanish instantly. It's all aimed at fighting the symptoms, not the problems themselves. Kids who feel they should escape reality will find ways to do so anyhow, so why not tackle the cause of these schoolgoing kids wanting to escape reality instead. Indeed this will lead to a more closed cannabis scene but since demand will not decrease it will bring kids in contact with a whole different kind of people who may not limit themselves to selling 'soft' drugs. This has nothing to do with trying to find a solution, this is more like slamming the door shut in the face.

More reasons to start growing your own as far as I'm concerned. But hey, they can prohibit all they want, but they will never bring cannabis down that way. Too bad no-one in our parliament or city counsels is experienced enough to provide us civilians with an objective point of view towards cannabis. The whole lot bases it's decisions on fear, not facts. They still think they can pass their ignorance on to the people, but the majority will only loose faith in our government even more. The bubble is easily bursted...

One day they'll realise how they've been fighting windmills for all these years. I don't know if I'll be there to experience it first-hand, but I'm confident that in the end someone will be brave enough to 'normalise' cannabis. There must be! :bandit:

Hi Esben,

Goodmorning.
That's so funny and probably most of the people walking by probably even don't notice..
lol.
Yes that's right, we have the International Peace Court and the Peace Palace...
How could I forget?

We also have a touristic place called Madurodam.
It's the Netherlands in scale...
In the eightees I was working there as a photographer taking pictures of tourists from all over the world.
When they got to the exit they could buy their picture with the little houses in the back.
But after closing time I could use the darkroom for some other "models"..... lol
The link of Madurodam:

http://www.madurodam.nl/index2.php

This is a very nice place to go for children.
Because it are all famous Dutch buildings in miniature.
Kids feel themselves like giants in between those little houses and buildings...
Catch you all later..

Peace, G.A.

After rock, hip hop and Jazz, I thought I had my "cultural shot" for the day...
But on my way home I met my friend and hair artist Marcelino (he himself comes from Suriname) telling me there was also a Ghana festival with kings, princes and princessess...
That's also a part of the "Dutch culture" nowadays and I think it makes the Dutch culture more rich..

Poor frog..... lol.

This was all happening around my corner!!

Heya Darpan!

Nothing better than exploring and enjoying the pleasures of your own surroundings. I think the majority of the Suriname people was originally from Ghana. We, the Dutch, have done some very shameful things a couple of centuries back by taking away 'slaves' and transporting them to the other side of the ocean. It's nice to see though that this former African culture has adapted to the South-Americas and formed a new culture over there with still lots of African influences present in today's life. I used to date this Suriname girl whose mother would dress up in traditional Suriname/Ghanese clothing for special occasions. Very pretty... The clothing of course.

I've done some urban exploring too this weekend. Since I moved to the eastern part of the country not so long ago I thought I'd head up north a little further and see what's up there. Never been to the city of Groningen before, but I can tell you, it's a very vibrant and beautiful place to be. Here's some impressions of a day out that ended in a local coffeeshop where all kinds of samples were exchanged amongst different members of a Dutch growing forum. I even met a 70 year old outdoor grower who is doing some backcrossing on some old-school genetics such as Dame Blanche and Viking, original Positronics stuff from back in the days. He gave me some of his seeds too which should all finish before the month of October, so I'll definitely give those a go next season. A very kind and experienced outdoor grower. He is currently pretty ill (cancer) but by the way he tells about his plants you can tell that despite his protesting body his mind is still very fit and he told me he'll carry on backcrossing as long as life will let him. Much respect... :bandit:

And my own humble little garden with the two Ecuadorians, one Haze Special and the four TMBs. Some yellowing here and there because of the lack of nitrogen and very wet soil, but I'm sure they'll get over it.

Hi MS,

Groningen is a nice city. Nice people...
I've been there a long time ago.
I know Café de Leeuw (café the Lion) en backpackers sleep in
"De Blauwe Druif" (The Blue grape).
I even don't know they still excist...
Viking he? That blood streams through all the different strains at the Canna Embassy.!
Sorry to hear of your friend.
At the moment life is realy confronting me.
I get more and more confronted with people and even friends and family, like my brother with his Gloma (tumor in the brain) that are dying, or.... pregnant...!!
Somehow life is showing me something.
Looks like life and death are coming closer together in my life right now..
I hope they become friends together and not fight each other..
Dance your way to god!!

Haven't we ALL our roots in Africa??

It wouldn't surprise me if Cannabis originally comes from there and has it's roots there also.. lol

Thanks for the info Mad Scientist.
That's explaining why the flags are so simular....
I was actualy looking it up this afternoon, because I saw the flag at the stage and thought it was the flag of Suriname...
I keep on learning every day and my head is getting bigger and bigger... lol.

Respect, G.A.

edit: I advised my brother to talk over the issue of medical Cannabis with his doctor and I sended his specialist some medical information about Cannabis.

I'm far from a specialist in these things, but the veteran grower I met yesterday takes crushed apricot pits because they contain hydrogen cyanide. ("blauwzuur" in Dutch) It's actually a very toxic substance, but the human body can build up resistancy against it. The point is that cancer cells don't grow immune to hydrogen cyanide, so you can gently increase the dosis without poisoning yourself while at the same time breaking down the cancer cells or at least slowing them down in their development. You should seek some professional advice on the subject of what exactly happens to the cancer cells and maybe the hydrogen cyanide is already present in most of the pharmaceuticals your brother is taking now. It's certainly no definite cure, but maybe it may be of some kind of relief to your brother. At least, that's what I was told it may be but again, please consider this only a hint as I'm no expert.
