Tonight I was feeding Schizo and her kittens and took some pics...
As said, I can watch them for hours, so vibrant, so playfull..
Tomorrow morning will be the last time I will be feeding them, because my neighbours are coming back from their trip tomorrow.
I will miss my daily playtime with the cats..

My neighbours have also a vatirty of nice flowers at their terrace.
They have one Purple Peace and it looks like they are lucky.
I also, because the macho Purpurea Erdber is the only male that can spread his pollin.
No genetic "pollution" (inbreed) so to say.

Sweet dreams world..

The weather conditions this year isn't that optimal.
March and the beginning of april was warmer then the average month of june.
After that a dark period of rain and wind started, so they started to preflower already in may instead of june.
June has been very changing, but large periods of darkness and rain.
At the moment I am writing this, the sun starts to shine....
I wish for a hot and long summer....

Peace, G.A.

The neighbours are back from their trip.
I will miss the cats, but Schizo is visiting me every day when the door is open...
The first picture is Schiizo last year, the second this year.
The rest of the pictures are taken last days when I was playing with the cats and taking care of them.
Catch you all later... Sun is still shining, reggae music still playing.

Peace, G.A.

Hi G.A., been lurking all along following your grow and where your lens leads. :D
I was sorry to hear of your brother, hope he is doing as well as can be expected. I lost my father to brain cancer. :badday:

I just had to comment on K.G.'s renaming that polyhybrid to "Esben", brilliant!
Here is one of his Early Durban's on the left, next to an undetermined Congo plant, one of two plants left to not have expressed.

I have 14 confirmed girls and have been too busy hauling water!
More pics in my thread found in my sig.
Best wishes to all my Canna Embassy friends!

Hi Highlighter,

Thanks for sharing..
Lurking... like that word.
My broher is fine at the moment.
The tumor stopped growing and he just passed his second chemo therapy.
It's a matter of time now and enjoying life as much as possible with his 2 daughters of 6 and 10 and his family.
And offcourse it's sad that a child doesn't survive his parents..
I talked with his neuro-oncologist and sended some medical Cannabis information, the link of NORML and the link of this forum.

http://www.norml.org//index.cfm?Group_ID=7002

My brother is a part of the family drama at the moment.
My mother was offcourse "stressed out" when she heard the news 8 months ago, she felt and broke her hip.
After surgerey and revalidation she felt again a couple of weeks ago.
This time she felt from her bike and broke her other hip and pulse.
She is in hospital and my father is running from one emergency room to the other.
My mother is joking again that she has brand new hips and that she will dance soon again... lol.
Ït sounds like a soap opera, or real life TV, but it's real life!!
Soap operas are only there so people don't have to take a look at their own life and situation.
Do you understand now why I try to enjoy life as much as possible?
Time is running out....

I agree Highlighter, Esben is a good name.
And those crossess will be the bomb.
The Purpurea Erdber is a strong plant, thick stem, big leaves..
I didn't make up any names for the several crossess yet.

The crane at the back is still turning over my terrace.
Today was mostly raining, but at night the sun returned...
Hope that hot summer starts soon... The plants need it!!

Peace, G.A.

Much respect for the way you choose to keep standing up and live through it all. I guess it's not much of a choice but something you just do. Still it takes courage and a certain attitude towards life to achieve and maintain it. I'm glad to see you're coping pretty well given the circumstances you just described and wish you all the best for your family. Remember without rain there will be no rainbow.

But to make a leap from the serious to the more light-hearted I also have to say I agree that we've had enough rain by now. I'm encountering all sorts of trouble with my outdoor plants because of the weather and the lack of light in my garden. One of my TMB's is drowning and showing nutritional problems, one already crippled Ecuador completely collapsed when I was away from home last weekend and another Ecuador was eaten alive by a monster snail or slug. My garden is positioned eastwards, so even when the sun breaks through the plants are still in the shade and the soil stays soaking wet. Posted below is the battlefield:

Hey! For a rainbow we need sun too! Lets start a sun-dance! :D

About time to show off that Deep Wreck, hey medjool? :D

LOL, esbe, "newly found". Is it really that much of a jungle in your yard?!?
Looking lovely!

Here's a double rainbow from last week. My wife thought it to be the best she's ever seen, and truly it was much better than this pic let on. We could see where both ends met the land, but we didn't pursue the pot of gold, heh heh.
If you look carefully, you can just make out the 2nd rainbow above the 1st. We were in such awe, by the time we thought to get the camera, it had faded considerably.

Also a shot of my own tie-down effort.

Peace my friends, HL

Let's come all together..... One big world orgasm.... all at the same time... wow, that would change the energy and vibe.... lol.

Hello friends,

Esben, just lovely and thanks for being such a friend....
Highlighter, I experienced once a double rainbow with some friends after heavy rain in a forest after a festival in Bavaria.
It was from hell to heaven... lol
He, he, he that's very Deep Wreck Medjool... nice space you have there..
I wish you could get your way overhere....
Not the less, I've been to that beautifull state Oregon you live in and I must say, it's just a very lovely state.. Lots of untouched nature, something I realy miss sometimes in my country. In the Netherlands there is no place were it is completely silent.
Even in the biggest "forest" you hear the sound of traffic, or planes...
So many people and such small ground to live on.
That's why we must keep saving our tolerance and respect and not only when you are a Christian, Moslim, Hindu, or Jew.... No moralism, no repression... just love, understanding and respect, the most fundamental human need.
Then there is no need for wars, gangs and hurted egos....
I don't know why I am sharing this all with you, but I just let the words flow like a river... No judgments, no deep mysteries...
The Cannabis plant to me is a mystery, I smoke recreative and medicly over 35 years Cannabis now, grow my own since shortly after the beginning of the tolerance policy and opening up of the coffeeshops end seventees.
I was working for a couple of years in one of the first cofeeshops in that time called "Brain Train".
Sweet memories. Very creative times, also politicly.
In 1983 I had my first own grow. 2 plants in a back yard of friends that didn't smoke, but liked the plants very much and they were willing to share space in their garden.
There were no clones in that time and the plants just had numbers.
I gave my plants always names. It was my first Indica/Sativa from seed.
In 1983 you could still grow "tolerated" up to 49 plants!!
Now in 2007 it's just 5 plants for own use and clones are strictly prohibited.

Didn't cross my plants in that time. Start to cross the different strains in 1993, the year of the Purple Peace, one of my fevorite crossess ever, a cross between a strain from the Himalaya (already, inbreeded and adjusted to the Dutch climate) and a Viking clone, also to my opinion, one of the best (Dutch) strains ever.
This genetics (and many crossess) are still today at the Canna Embassy.

Sun is shining at the moment and a lot of information is going around.
But never forget, the own experience is the only truth....
And the only thing I can do is share that experience and "work" with people and try to make this world a little more peacefull and tolerant (again).
To me it's still a revolution of the artists!!
Musicians, painters, dancers, poets and not to forget Hip Hop... lol
Snoop Dogg is being around here lately and my friend Arthur had a "meet and greet" with mr. Snoop.
He takes care of the party supplies: www.mountainhigh.nl
And a party it was....

Peace to you all.... G.A.
