My friend Gijs invited me to come to the Fresh FM studio, where DJ Warren Fellow was in the mix between 12 am and 2 am... It was a fantastic set.

We're almost taking for granted that you put all this effort in showing us some of your world, but every now and then I feel I should remind you of what a pleasure it is for us to see your pictures. Here's a little overview of my garden:



Four [Thai x Mexico] x Banghi and one Haze Special in front, two Ecuadorians in the back...

There's one Ecuadorian plant missing in the pic because it was attacked by a ferocious caterpillar, the beaver-variety. It eats away all bark at ground level, making the plant fall down and die a slow death. But not if Dr Mad can help it! Oh no, so here it is again three days later after gentle treatment from my side, still hanging in there...

Today sun and clouds were changing and a little rain in the morning.
For the plants very nice conditions.
Is kipped one time fertilizing with the Bio Canna Vega, because the leaves are getting a little yellow, accept for the G.A. in the wooden flower box.
She is dark green and stretching her branches...

By the way, the park is at a walking distance of the Canna Embassy.

The beat and lirics of Blaxtar realy heated me up...
I just got a mail where he mentioned that he wasn't that happy about the strict timing and organisation (they could only play 20 minutes or so..).
I didn't notice it at all. Great performence guys!!
I told him that almost 30 years ago Parkpop started out with a couple of local freaks and bands.
Together with an ounce of good stuff and a second hand guitar we had a ball!!
Now it's taken over by Coca Cola and Dommelsch (bad Dutch beer).
Families bring more money into the pockets.
3 years ago a local coffeeshop was still selling hash and weed to the festival visitors. Now that it is prohibited.
You see the use of pills and alcohol and the combination of last 2 are rising at the festivals. Makes some people realy weird.
I don't like chemicals that much. Life is fucked up already enough!!
What's wrong with a good old Spliff?

A clever Dutch paper company was handing out free Kingsize papers before the concert of Israel Vibrations...
Sweet Reggae music and sweet smoke rising from the crowd in front of the stage. Back to the roots man!
The party is going on... such a colorfull and beautifull crowd!

At Parkpop there are always acts, or bands that surprises me.
One of them was Delinquent Habits from L.A.
They were surprised that we still were having fun with the rain pooring down on us.
We are Dutch man!! We fought the water for ages, a little rain can't spoil the party!!
