Still wondering about the whole cooler myself as I just heard it like yday... Im sure theres ppl around here with proper experience on those things...
Bru I used the same coco from hortishop in my last round; u've seen how it works... Must say I didnt measure pH @ once but I was doing organic nutes... No wash just added cal/mag while soaking and directly in tap water as well... What can I say... Worked well and deff better than soil.. WAter with nutes was RO and mountain water and cpl times rain water..

Swamp/evaporative coolers can lower the temperature of a space 10-20*F when properly sized but they require dry outside air to cool effectively. They also add a considerable amount of humidity to the space being cooled.
Much cheaper to run than an a/c but uses tons of water as well. Plenty of pros and cons to both. Both can be used effectively to cool a grow room, it just depends on your environment and situation. The DIY swamp coolers I made helped me add humidity and cool the space when I was running 7k flower at 7,000 ft in the Southern California mountains during the middle of summer.

Check the thing is its only really the bathroom that needs cooling. So I dont wanna put a split or a window banger as who the fuck has one in their bathroom..? And I aint got no ceiling in my flat, ie no insulation... but Im looking at maybe buying some "isoboard" ceiling panels and do the ceiling bish bosh bash..... I built lank ceilings when I was deep in the Shire... and the boards are sealed cell xps... same shit as epoxy boards are shaped from..... gonna cost, but need to deal with the 'sauna'....
And to all the seed poppers and hydro whores out there.... again much fucking respect to you all... shits not so simple.... cool to work shit out.... I just dont see a chimp being able to get this shit right....
