You'll be fine man, every grow has it's own lessons. Just acknowledge and learn from them and don't make the same mistakes. Each harvest will be better and in no time you'll be looking back and saying look how far I've come. Not to belittle this harvest either as I'm sure it will be nice bud. Keep on rocking, you got this! I can't wait to see the next round too.

Here's one of my earlier grows where the temperatures were getting into the 40's and even 30's with the lights off. There's no size reference but these buds were very small when finished. They were nice though.

And another one at a different house a year later.

I think he means Fahrenheit smelly. 32F is freezing temp. I think OG Biowar would be a good one to get if you can. Their foliar pack is great. I also saw it is from a company that sells stuff which is how the OG Biowar people get it and remarked it as their own or that is what backyard farmer says. If you can get it from their site, put "farmer" for a discount code ;) look up the thread about it on here. I think Weird was the original poster.

If I were you I would continue this thread. You have some experienced growers helping you out and I'm sure they want to see updates on your progress.

Yo ICmag.....

Been pretty busy last few days... busy fucking around, or more like realising my efforts over the last few months add up to a fuck around... Well, hopefully it gets me where I need to go, and the trim actually makes some bubble to see me through... just waiting for more ice to freeze.... otherwise its looking pretty bunk, but you all already knew that, months ago lol... but I defo will post pics once things are dry... nothing to hide lol...

So today, I up potted the bitches, now I know tleaf and others would bomb that coco/peat but me being me Id like to stretch it for a rainy day... it is bout 70L anyways... so I tore up the balls and tried to dust as much crap off that I could and placed the coco/peat in a freshly scrubbed tote[boiling water and dish soap, $ remember?] and placed it in the tote, tote is in the kitchen, along wifff all the other crap for next run in their totes... Now, some of the roots had bulbs growing on them, wtf?? Like mini potato's....? Never seem that on ganja roots before...?? And I did see fliers crawling around, they had wings and were grey almost translucent in colour....? Root aphids? Fungus gnats? The coco/peat will rest maybe 3months, could be 3years if I go by smelly time...

Oh... I got some cloning questions... How long do you guys let the roots grow in the areo cloner..?? I havnt really been getting fucking thick almost bushy roots like I have seen others get... I get more like fish skeleton roots... but not many, they just seem to grow in length... had them arms length before.... Also how do you guys place your clone in their cup of medium..??? Past times I have filled the cup half way with a peat/coco/perlite/vermiculite mix, placed the clone inside in a wrapping motion[staring to think this is very bad, the twirl??] then topped up and the first few days I just spray the surface of the medium, bout day 4 Ill start pouring liquid on the medium surface... but I have been holding off the feed for maybe like the first 5-6days... and keeping them a bit out of the 400mh for bout 3days... Then bout after 2weeks under the 400 in their cups I move to a bigger container... after bout 3 weeks of them being in the cups they pretty rootbound... as in the cups filled with roots... is this a good thing?? Or one really doesnt want roots spinning anywhere...??
Thanks in advance for the input guys....

@Lady.... yeah still not to sure.... still pondering the pros and cons...

Far as I'm concerned, you killed it dude. and if your harvest is "a little meh" that's just more excuse for a bunch more bubble hash :tiphat: but that's just me

I learned so fucking much from this thread, it has been invaluable to me as a newer vertical grower. It's also terrifying to me as somebody who has been insanely lucky to never have a single pest issue (knocking on wood frantically as we speak), but the info that you received to help combat that problem was awesome and has been duly noted. Looking forward to seeing some harvest pics my man...

@jd..... I killed it forsure, just not in the way you thinking... lol. Yeah I ran the trim through the bags last night, not much, but had a bowl this am, still wet, but it bubbles and was quite nice.... been ages since I had any... I learnt heaps too, and if it wasnt for all the cool people helping.. Id know none of it... Il will defo post some dry pics, prob is a the moment the RH is sitting at 94% in the flat, no jokes...[clones dig]!! Inside the broomroom where they're "drying" its 83% and 24dC... inside the bedroom[veg] its 65%RH... not sure what to do...? Ideas??
Oh and no power at the moment... a nice load shed... :woohoo:
Thank fuck I got myself wifi...

Just checked the outdoor plants that I sprayed and moved off two weeks ago.... some seem alright, some effected ones seem to have grown through it while others which weren't showing mite damage now are... great. Im in two minds wether to go put them down or just try ride out the next few weeks.... but then Il be bringing them inside to dry, which in turn will bring the mites inside... great. Or cut up plants outside, place in container and pop straight into freezer... to make bubble... at least then they wont be a complete waste... I mean theres about 20 of varying sizes... some are throwing those skew fingres and are starting to pale off in blotches... dead fucking give away.... so bumbed....

How much weight did your plants average each? My plants that had BM had small buds but the others that didn't have nice big buds. Twice as big. How much work is it fighting them? Cost for that spray? Do the math and add also for your time involved.

Add some crab shell crushed up for chitan which is an immunity booster. Isn't there aloe or yucca around there? Get you a good mix for your soil as a water only and get some good bloom stuff and you'll have some super healthy girls so if the broad mites come back they're at least better prepared to fight. Aspirin works too but all the extra inputs could help :)

@Lady.... Aint nearly dry yet... only been a week... everywhere besides my veg area is sitting between 80-90% RH....

I went through 5L of mix over the 20+ girls.... cant again as they in flower now... Easier to come across the cuttlefish shell than the crab... crabs mostly semi fuct.... smells minging and you need to fight off sea gulls to get em.... needless to say not to ampt...

Can you snag a dehuey from somewhere man? I guess it's probably shorter in supply and higher in demand out that way but around here ~$100-150 gets you a real decent mid to large sized dehumidifier at Walmart - do you have those around your spot?

@jd... howzit, just finished for the day... miff monday. Yeah they sell em in the shops... that along with portable ac's and shop vacs... all the stuff I need... just they more pricey this side... and if I do get anything outa this run its a proper inline fan and scrubber.... 6 more weeks, only 6 and the weather here is gona be hard to beat... so just tryna ride the summer out, as its almost over... Im thinking of hanging the branches up on fishing line kinda close to the ceiling... as I did last summer... ohs been calling already[super lol] and I want my fan already.... actually very surprised that somebody hasnt brought that up as my weakest point... not having a proper inline fan... lol. Oh we dont have walmart here, but there are other big chain stores which sell that kinda stuff...

I think if you work with your location by growing strains that are African or Hawaiian tropical, they will perform better than strains from dryer regions.

We should get you some genetics that are crossed with Africans so they're more temperament to your environment but have different qualities for variety. Sounds like you got a good game plan developing.
