Oh Yeah that's what i like to see, nice ventilation HellaFella. man i missed out on a whole bunch a stuff huh? i just love to see such grow setups. the way you hung your filter is incredible, is it hanging on those two clamps? or is there something i'm missing. some very nice digi ballasts you have there.
what did you do on the outside of the window board? you could always tac a curtain on the out faceing side? or maybe you don't have to worry how it looks outside?
anyway great show can't wait to see it continue, peace out.
Welcome back old friend! Yep, just clamps! That is a "Phat Filter" they are REMARKABLY light given their size, they use "flake" carbon instead of "pelletized" and are SUPER LIGHT! I was thinking about adding a third, but I hung from it and nothing happened so I figure it's good!
I have never used this tupe of digi, the local store just started carrying these cause their chinese supplier can keep up demand! I figure theres not much diference in ANY ballasts let alone digitals! If there bright and dont hum, then there working great!
We affixed a real normal looking tapestry with thumb tacks and duct tape, it just looks like a window with a tapestry hanging in it, also the Plywood is spray painted black, so its lack of color just looks like a room with the lights off inside!
Everything is finished, now I just have to rent the U-Haul tomorrow so I can transport the plant on over there! There HUGE one's!
The filter is so damn light yet someone still managed to drop it!
OKay, nuff said. When looking from the outside, doesn't the curtain blow around wildly? It would seem like a tornado was in there? Atleast you won't have much vibration since the filter is hanging from the bungies.
Also see you have a coil ballast in the closet, is that running the 1000s'?
Good "eye" fucker! No-one dropped it, I hung it in it's original configuration, "testing" it before installing it permanantly ["checking" how it hung, "testing" it's structural stability] I WASN'T connected to the ducting {which allows it MORE stability once connected...} The back end of a carbon filter is solid, as opposed to the open end, and is subsequently more heavy.... The damn thing was hanging LOW in the bungee cords that were utilized for vibration abatement and suspension and while I was outside taking a bowl-break and a phone-call. I heard a HUGE, KA-THUMP, and knew instantly that the bungee cords had stretched far enough to flip the filter/fan over and deposit it on the closet floor! Now it's re-strung with rubber tie-down's in the heavier back and the regular bungee's on the lighter front, also the ducting is connecte which add's needed direction to the whoole damn project!
Whoops, sorry I'm a touch drizunk tonight.... Ancient Age and Coke..!
The tapestry on the window is stretched taught top and bottom and taped down with duct-tape on the windows leading-edge....
It IS a 10 In fan, so there will be a malestrom flowin' through there, but it's in a pretty private backyard, and will only be pumping at night, with a de-hum running during the night cycle [daytime] to "combat" Humbolt's nemesis PM and Bud-Rot, so being "secret" isn't a very big deal....
Good "eye" there are 2x old school 1000w ballasts in there donated by the lady you saw installing ventalation, she and I are splitting the rent and watering duties, while I get a touch more of the profits for setting her up and offering my know-how and, dare-I-say-it, expertise! This is the first time I have ever used 1000w ers, I have ALWAYS used 600w's and now more then ever since we have these sweet digital one's!
Damn looking nice my friend.. cant wait to see the plants you are going to put in there.. they are gonna be monsters for sure.. Go Big or Go Home.. that shit is off da hook .. Keep It Green and Stay Safe.. HE

Some sort of fruit, yeah.....His old girlfriend planted it...
The Realestate market is expensive, beleive it or not, I'm just "starting out" and my bankroll has taken a slight hit investing in new operations/rent/equiptment......etc.
Hopefully I shall own my own soon, but for now, chill landlords are even better!
I took some pix of the new joint finally in operation, but now the GF took the camera with HER for the day...
Yeah, Bubba Dutch's SSH, all the cheese is at MY house only.....that stuff is for ME!

New operation looks nice HF, can't wait to see it expand into a nice tree room
I dont blame ya one bit for keepin' the cheese close to your home and heart for the personal head stash, I've only smoked it twice and simply love it.
