They choose gun free zones because that's where people congregate and the highest causalities can be inflicted. It wouldn't have mattered how many armed people there would have been at the Las Vegas shooting due to the fact the gunman was way up in a hotel.

I'm glad they have gun free zones at professional sporting events. I don't think they would be more safe if they allowed people to pack heat and drink.

These shootings should be looked at per individual basis.

What did the future shooters learn from this? Simple. Don't enter the churches anymore. Wait for people to exit then start firing. Create chaos. The shooters aren't going to stop. They will just change tactics.
