Considering that guns kill people and the ten commandments state plainly "Thou shall not kill", it does seem ridiculously hypocritical.

It would be interesting to do a study to see if right wing nut jobs are responsible for a noteworthy margin of alcohol related deaths as can be seen with mass shootings?

Improve Mental Health: Gun control is not the only solution to curbing the epidemic of gun violence. There must be other efforts to assist those with mental health issues in order to prevent suicides by firearms or mass shootings at public places.

Sounds like his big plan is to leave things the way they are. Not bad. I don't like his plan on cannabis, vaccines, or his lying about Trump being the most corrupt pesident in our nations history. Nor, do I think je has done enough to criticise the dems. Especially Hillary and the Obama admin. I don't think he has the desire, the will or the wherewithal to take on this nations internal or external enemies. I bet he will embrace the swamp. He just doesn't seem sharp anymore. Just bitter and angry that Trump won and that Americans are rejecting his parties bull schiff.
Nobody has a sensible policy. I have to agree the NRA should not have any leverage at all. And making quality healthcare available to everyone should result in less mentally unstable people killing themselves or others.
No perfect solution. Time machine to fix gun show loop holes and the lift on the assault rifle ban? Cats out of the bag.
No point in trying to take guns from the sane people until we devise a way to get the nuts to hand over theirs first.

Even with the evidence so thick around us, I know.
I spent decades learning the teams (not just ‘us/them’), learning to read the plays, to follow the action; I’d figured out a lot, much of it extending and completing thing I knew of already, but there were connections I couldn’t see until I learned about James Buchanan and his partnership with Charles Koch. Shit began to fall into place for me.
The “gun thing” is part of the imaginary ‘liberal’ construct that’s been planted in the “god, guns, & guts” base by the “conservative news machine” these last 40-50 years. The “cold dead hands” crew would shit themselves blue if they knew how many “liberals” have worked it through, actually own guns, and know how to use them.

This is not exactly the document I was looking for. But, the UN was hiring Americans to disarm gun owning americans on behalf of the UN. The hiring was being done in New York. It seemed to be related to Jade Helm. The idea that gun confiscation is a right wing paranoid delusion is simply false. Just look at Cuomo in New York. He got caught trying to lie about this very thing.
