& the big veg , which will be emptied tonight & put into tent 1 , then i can set up my flood tables for vegging the hydro plants. i'll get pics after its set up this weekend .

I just put this together from old parts of older home made hydro gear. The pump is only a 250gph pump, the manifold is 1/2inch PVC. I guess you could say I'm running this as a cloner, but I'm just running tap water with out any cloning solutions. I'm running it 24/7. I have two cuttings per collar.

yeah , the one on the left s a new hortilux blue my grow shop guy asked me to try & the one on the right is an ushio conversion bulb ..... i like that one alot better !!! will have both burning ushios pretty soon .
gotta clean the lenses again too i see lol

Yea the left bulb almost appears to have a greenish hue like a mercury vapor...i think that was the m.v with the greenish hue havnt seen one in ages

to me it looks orange like an HPS , but yeah its spectrum isn't as white as i'm used to or like . so its time is very short in here .

decided i'm using the 3 gallon square fabric pots made for the Titan system . they fit right inside the big net pot that comes with the system . i set up a 40 gallon rez as a flood tray , especially for them 12 fabric pots .
then the 3 x 3 flood tray is for preveg , my 5" net pots will be sitting in 3" of hydroton , like yours sprout , just one big tray instead of the small ones .

from the cloner to the preveg in 5" net pots to the 3 gallon fabric pots in veg & then into the buckets in flower .....

Dan, right on brotha your man cave's progressing along quite nicely.
Do yourself a favor and put the pots in first, then fill it with rocks.
they'll sit level and you can get them spaced out a whole lot easier.
If the pots that the kit came with are the ones that sit on the rims
of the buckets, you might want too modify them too slid down inside,
mine sit about 2 or 3 inches off the bottom, for a much better soak.
Other than that... I'd just let them bitches buck Homeboy !

Alright... I just rolled in from the Dakotas, fuck was it cold up there.
I drove for 3 hours and 45 minutes without seeing another motorist,
finally stopped along the Missouri river valley too enjoy the view and
smoke a fatty. It's an odd feeling knowing your the only person for
perhaps hundreds of miles and while that's not unique for me, I still
find it humbling... and it surely helps puts life back into perspective !

As for the garden, that shits on cruise control... GG#4 at day 33

Hey sprout, have you had your CWP unit long? Curious to know if has been a good unit as it is quite a bit cheaper than the unit by Bluelab. I am gonna be a few months behind dan on the hydro......but it is coming soon for me. How long have you been able to leave your garden unattended?

i'm getting the bluelab tri monitor . its a little more expensive , but bluelab's stuff is oober reliable & my shop has them in stock .

unregistered, I've had it for a few years now and so far so good.
I've had to adjust the Ph. probe several times now and it's getting
close to the adjustment limits, I'll probably have to replace it soon.
They're like $35 so no biggie and it wouldn't matter who made it...
the probes that stay in a solution 24/7 eventually need replacing.
Now as far as Blue-labs go, no doubt they are considered by many
too be the best, hell I own one myself (handheld) great unit that
I use to double check everything with, I'd highly recommend them.
I once left a plant in a bucket (just shut the pumps off) too see how
long it would take to die, after 9 days it started showing signs and
by day 14, I doubt I could have saved it. With the pumps running I'd
say 3 weeks no problem... pretty sure the rez would be dry though.

Duck, I often wonder if people who live in huge cities like L.A. or
the Big apple, ever get too be truly alone, I like to think they do !

Nothing fancy going on here, changed out the reservoir water today,
also lowered the PPMs down to 500 and hit`em with "a little" PK boost.
The GG4's are starting too stack pretty well and the buds crowned
so the swell isn't to far away, I'll post some pics again on Saturday.

got the fabric pots & just put enough pebbles in to square off the bottoms to see how they'll fit .
i think they'll work out pretty good !!!

& the preveg tray loaded up & tested .

knocked one level off the overflow & added more pebbles so the net pots were at least 2/3rds covered .

its been like forever since I have stopped by...life has been keeping me busy...laptop has been broke from Baker (my pup) jumping on it wanting attention lol...little guy can get away with murder hahaha...but thanks to Duck giving me his hand me down lol

but wanted to comment on the bluelabs...we have 4 of them...I have only had a problem with one of them...the led display went out on the pH section...they replaced it under warranty but it took 3 to 4 weeks to get it back...the one they gave me was brand new

Oh yeah...flowers are looking fantastic as always...thats the same comment I make every time ...hey was wondering what modes and white balances you use to take your pics...they come out real nice showing the plant color...they are under hps lamps I assume?

To me dabs are the way to go...rosin is so clean compared to honey oil...I just cant sit there using a flat iron trying to produce the amount I need lol

and I gotta say thats one reason I stay baked...the real world...cali is just a nightmare man...I hate to even go to the store...they just keep adding on more homes without the stores or roads to support the masses...a lot of them too have the worst english ...so I just stay at the homestead

I've been working on a two tote reservoir system as I find that
mine (similar to yours) runs out of water to fast once the plants
start getting bigger. And we all know how that can fuck with the
PPMs and Ph. so... I'll get some pictures up once it's assembled.

Huey, good too hear from you, I generally run my camera in auto
white balance or (AWB) also "I try" too avoid shooting when the
HPS is running... I set up my gear before the lights come on and
start taking pictures immediately once they do fire up. Also I'll
take like 50 pics each session, just to find 5 or 6 legit keepers !

The old ladies calling so I'm cut this short here... GG#4s @ 40 days.

Not that HPS pictures are all bad or anything...

how fast you talking ??? i plan on not being around much in the summer with camping & all i hope this doesn't fuck with my plans !!! I have 2 extra 55 gallon barrels , maybe a double rez is the ticket .

Well by weeks 3 & 4 and running 12 plants my reservoir (20 gallon)
though realistically it holds 17, will be half empty in about 3 days...
If it gets much lower than that, that's when things can get wonky.
Generally I find it's the PPMs more so than the Ph. seen both tho.
I have extra drums too, the only problem with them is the height.
We'll see how the two tote thing works out, I've been meaning to
build it for some time now, I have all the stuff just never the time !
