It mg deficiency
Either they want more or the ph is off just enough to not uptake enough. Usually happens if the medium gets locked up some from whatever reason,(medium got dry, overwatered, underfed) or ph is off in the container a for a time period then it straightens out.
Purple, red stems, race stripes, red fan leaf stem are all mg deficiency. What the cause is couldnt tell ya the other mg def sign is the tiger stiped faded leaf but thats usually after the stems n other shit get affected.

Happens to me all the time from letting coco get to dry when they need a TP or purposely underfeeeding to slow growth. Always grows out fine once they get satisfied to say the least.

Dan, kind of slows things down if you ask me... not too keen on it.

Sir, I'm leaning towards to much food too often, going to dial it
back a bit and see if that takes care of it. Like I said "I always
have a back up plan", just sucks because I'm about too take some
clones and with only one plant to choose from, I'll be limited on
the size and quality of the clones. I prefer the big old fat ones...

Duck, them some amazing pics you've been posting, keep it up !

Day 20, things are filling in nicely, about time too make some damn buds...

Got some work too do, then a nap so I'll be fresh for Super~cross
tonight... races last until midnight and that's way past my bedtime !

Peace and other shit,
Sprout.

Looking great as always Sprout !!! :respect:

& thanx for the info on the Titan System :tiphat: I'm really considering it ! gotta set up a cloner & a veg tray like yours first . gonna set up one of my 3 x 3 trays on a stand & fill it with hydroton to veg in . one of my 18 gallon totes will be good enough for a rez for it . ordered the fittings yesterday . already have pumps & 6" net pots , just need the rocks & a tray stand :dance013:

Dan, You'll love the "set it and forget it" aspects of that type a system.
Frees a fella up too do other things, like fish more often for an example !
I can see a second Titan system in my future ( for vegg'n)... then I could
just simply move all the buckets over into the flower room and keep rock'n.

GG#4 at day 26 of the flower stage.

Canopy's coming along after the major trim job I gave them last week.

The buds are beginning too line up for the eventual stack'n later...

And we can't forget about the East coast sour diesel in the corner
She really is a good looking girl, nice and green she is, she is...

That's it, that's all I got for now...
Peace and all that other hippy shit,
Sprout.

i just picked up everything i need for veg & a cloner . once i get it set up i'll show ya . i'm going to use the 3 gallon smart pots made for that system . i'm going to veg those in a 40 gallon rez on top of a 40 gallon rez lol . the rez on top will be flood & drain into the lower one . this way i can fit 12 of those smart pots filled with hydroton right in the tray to veg out . just pick each one out & put it right in my buckets in the flower tent .

i've already got my 40" flood tray here that i use for catch trays now . i'll use one of them for preveg with 5" net pots & hydroton in the bottom like you do . 40 gallon rez under that to food & drain .

bought a 32 site EZ cloner ..... now if i can get that to work consistently .... i'll be ok . only need 12 healthy clones each time so ....

once i get it set up i'll take a few pics so ya can see what i mean .

The GG4s are looking great brutha !!! filling out nicely :tiphat:

Dan keep the temps low like 72 range and you'll be golden. And clean in between sessions including running the pump and manifold for an extended time.
I highly recommend, although probably unnecessary that you buy a whole bunch of EasyCloner misters and some PVC and build a few extra manifolds to just have laid around and use a new one every 6 months - yr. u can reall clean the EZ manifold well, but I think stuff still sticks around in there. After a yr of use my EZ manifold always give me shit n get slime on cuts. I think smooth round walls of pvc cleans easier than the premolded manifold, And can be taken apart. Costs a dollar or two to make one and I prefer them. The pump is also the other weak link after that yr mark but diligent cleanings running enzymes for a day or two and then bleach for a day help.
Me personally, I'll drop the $ on a new pump every yr and repurpose the old pump for other stuff or on back up. Nothing worse than losing a cloner to slime filled with 120 clones that u rely on to keep timelines that you already invested two weeks of time into while they rooted.
That's just me. It's my job so I I can't afford losses. In my current situation I had to switch methods over it
I really miss the huge root masses I'd have going into the first container in the EZ cloner days
Now I use Rockwool because it deals with the temp range my veg area provides a lot better but I hate the monitoring moisture and smaller root mass.
KLN also bro. Never seen anything blast out roots so thick and aggressively as kln does. Great for transplants too
That's just my suggestions on bs I've dealt with more than once. Not like that for everyone

Sprout. Diesels look nice n healthy! I gotta shoot you a pm soon.

Thank You Sir !!!! :tiphat:

just so happens i have a bag full of extra sprayers , the red ones , from when i had my king cloner , got the pump & manifold from that too that never got much use . pump should work in this one , but not the manifold , & like you say , they're easy enough to build .
but thanx again for all the tips !!! i have a bottle of KLN too .... good shit indeed !

I make/build my own manifolds for my aeroponic units. I also use dish soap as part of my cleaning process for them. I use a tap to drill holes in the PVC for the sprayers/misters. A PVC manifold doesn't need to be glued, so you can take it apart for any type of cleaning. When the manifold is apart you could use hot water to sterilize your parts. You don't need water that is boiling, but around 140-160 degree.

Gano, what misters/spray nozzles do you have success with? more misting or spraying? or do you mix?

Here are some pictures of my aeroponic units.

The mister/sprayers that I use are yellow. I have two types of the yellow sprayers, one is 180* and the other is close to being 360*. I feel that the 180 degree ones put out a better spray/stream.

these ones I rooted out in coco and then dipped the root mass into a bucket of water and removed 99% of the coco and then they went into the aeroponic unit
