I don´t think that 9/11was an inside Job. Once I meet the landlord or lessor of some of the terrorists. They lived for a time in Hamburg/Germany. He was interviewed by the german Police. That´s a fact and no conspiracy theory.

:tiphat:
are you admitting it was not guns but rather "terrorists" ? because that may be the punchline to the joke that you believe america has become.

I give up. This happened just a few miles from me and I talked with some of the folks in that area just the day before. This thread is already down the toilet.

it's becoming clear that the ball was dropped on the shooter's criminal history and the firearm application
if the existing laws were followed he wouldn't have been able to make the purchase legally
would that have changed things? no way of knowing for sure, many here will say no
but enforcing existing laws properly is much easier than creating new ones on such a contentious issue

Was it reported as to how long before the incident the purchase was made?

i did not see that
taking into account your earlier post(i think) it's possible that maybe a time lag could have happened, i.e. legal purchase(kind of)
the gun regulations are obscure, state to state variance, and the federal
it's messy at best

Great post. Who knows? The rifle was the weapon used....However, it was not the motivating factor behind this heinous act. It's obvious he was fucked in the head...shit was going to go down either way.

Maybe less people would of died...but who knows? The only thing I know is there were 50 something people in that church..a citizen\hero grabbed his AR15 and a 'hand full of ammo' and ran, in his socks, towards the church...half a block or so. Took cover behind a vehicle, observed the suspect was in the process of reloading and that he had body armor on{by noticing the velcro straps} and shot that bastard in his side. The Hero then shot him in the neck...and again in the neck as he was fleeing...bad ass !

How many other lives did this man save? Thank God we don't know !

Turns out the Hero was a NRA instructor. Bravo :tiphat:

He bought it in April of last year.

I also read he was shot in the leg and torso, as well as his head obviously.

It's getting to where you don't even have to believe in any gods to slaughter innocents.
