Congrats on the HighTimes photo ™ well done!

TM on your 10g pots how much water/feeding will you give to this pot in order for you to feel it is watered just the right amount? ex: 2g 4g 7g in one shot? I mean for each of your feedings about how much do you use per 10g pot, thanks.

Thanks man!

Every 10 gallon pot gets 1/2-3/4 gallon of water every 2 days

Yeah my watering recipe is posted in the 1st or 2nd page of this thread, I'll drench with water only in between every "feeding" and by feeding I mean plant supplements like aloe/coconut water/FulPower/SST

AGSIL16H

AGSIL16H

I made a quart solution of the AGSIL16H. does this have a long shelf life? it seemed a little more slippery/slick after about one week so I didn't use it. wasn't sure if this was normal so I didn't want to screw anything up. I am currently in transition to a bottle-less grow and it feels GREAT! thank you TM!!

Lester -

It has at least a 1 year shelf life, because that's how long I've had mine and it's fine still. You have to store it in an air tight bottle and keep temps under 75F and preferably no light (cool dark closet) for it to stay fresh though. I like the condiment bottles that have caps on the tops, so all I have to do is squirt 5 ml of Agsil16H and close it back up without making a mess.

For those that don't know yet, these highly marketed "bloom boosters" on the market right now are simply watered down enzymes. If you take the time to sprout and grind some corn/barley/clover seeds you'll have a cheaper and far better enzyme tea than the stuff they sell you at the hydro store. Bloom boosters are the most profitable bottles sold right now, and it plays into the "stoner science" that's all too common these days. You really have to follow the money to see the ugly truth to the hydroponic industry and it's unfortunate place in the medical industry these days.

Thank you TM it's the little things such as that, that help so much with my personal grow, appreciate it. Do use any of the other Dragonfly products besides the Roots one such as the radiant green or fat flowers? I ordered almost the entire package of products to try them out as foliars and soil drenches as such when needed because it seems easy enough to measure a scoop out and mix it and spray/drench. Your thoughts?

Hey man congrats on the photo in HT!

Looking good in here bro!

Are you getting the 50# bags of Coots mix off BAS? I'm undecided between the coots mix or the nutrient mix w/ all the meals in it too... maybe I should grab one of each for diversity ... what do you think? Either way I go I'm pulling the neem/karanja cakes out of the mix and adding bio char @5%

I've never gone this big before, you think I'll get a lb or more? I'm at 42N
Definitely! I hit 20zips off a plant in less than 5gal of amended soil ... planted in ground though. 2 shovel fulls dug out... mixed in ffof w/ extra goodies and planted a 8" clone.

What an amazing thread! Thanks for taking the time to post all this great info for us TM.

Np guys, great to have you two!

Currently I don't, I just use those 2. The brilliant black is great for top dressing and brewing, and the Natural Mystic is a nice change up for my IPM foliar regimen. Usually I'll spray with Neem oil cocktails but every month I'll use the NM with good results. If I were in a soilless mix I would consider the Radiant Green and Fat Flowers, but I already have food in my soil mix so I'm not adding anything besides plant supplements to these plants. It's a little pricey for my taste, but I'm sure they make some great products. Their IG feed proves that they know exactly what they're doing, it's really informative too - they take time out to teach you something in each post they make it seems like. If using as a drench I would suggest to strain the tea before drenching to prevent any burning that might occur after plant matter is left on the surface of your medium. If your top layer is bumpin in the sense of microorganisms they'll be able to break it down though, especially with some Brilliant Black sprinkled on top to aid in decomposition.

awesome thread Team Microbe! Thanks for posting all this info. Our grows have a LOT in common.

Thanks! Great minds think alike

Damn!! Those are nice ass flowers, and that's a nice yield as well man. We pulled in very similar numbers actually, that's crazy - I came out with 979g from (2) 600 watt lights. You actually did better than me, and this was one of my heaviest harvests to date! Nice job brother :dance013:

Im doing TLO right now. Gonna be up on your style soon TM after I see Polygons results.

That's what's good.

Hey man congrats on the photo in HT!

Yeah is that how heavy the 300 gallon kits are? I'm getting the biggest they carry, it comes to about $180 for every 300 gallons of soil. It seems like big holes will cost me a little more than expected, but I know it'll be worth it in the end. I'm debating either a lot of 30 gallon holes, a medium amount of 60 gallon holes, or ten or so 100 gallon holes. Can't figure out which would be better in the terms of yield, or if it'll all balance out to be about the same nonetheless.

I've probably asked you already but how big are you digging them this year? I was wondering if I should add anything to the CC kit like you're thinking about doing, it sounds like a good bet man. I want some kind of P in there like fish bone meal I think, he goes pretty light on that in this mix.

Why/how are you pulling out the neem & karanja? Is that what you're charging the bio char with or something? I love neem man lol

And DAMN that's a lot for 5 gallons - that plant had to have dug into soil surrounding it. How did the native soil look there? If I could get away with that I will... it sounds like finding some rich native may save my back some pain this spring lol. I can't wait to pull up a chair for your outdoor thread bro... spring can't come soon enough

Thanks TM! I thought i wasnt gonna do that well but it surprised me. I over watered and put too heavy of a top dress too. most likely what caused the nanners. I do a modified TLO btw. I dont do the manure layer or spike. I do bottom dress with the flower and veg spike, 5-5-5 center layer and no top dress until 15 days into flower. I am trying to dial it in to where i get 1 GPW with low yielding strains. I have Pre-98 bubba, XXX-OG, Anther gsc cut, and a strain called Jesus (Afghani/blueberry x White Widow) going into flower in a week or so. Then a Fire Alien Kush about 2 weeks after that or so. Nice work on your pull too Tm!

Running swamp tubes @ 18"d x 20"h & 18"d x 24"h

Couple holes in a soft hill full of black berries ... 4'd x 2'deep

Mounds about 6-8cu ft ... double planting smaller strains

Why/how are you pulling out the neem & karanja? Is that what you're charging the bio char with or something? I love neem man lol
Just asking them to leave it out ... I'd rather foliar lightly with it if needed but I shouldn't need to
BAS offers it pre-charged which is what I'm going with

Native soil is rich black and few feet above water level of nearby stream ... no doubt it dug deep and wide b/c I watered it 2x all summer w guano tea and that was it

Using lots of native for the mounds with lots of leaf mold.

First off, I wanted to share this website with you guys with some really great material from an Amish farmer named John Kempf. This guy is literally my hero, and he recorded a bunch of seminar talks that he did a few years back that are mind blowing and packed with so much info, I just have to share it:

http://bionutrient.org/library/audio-archive

I have run out of allowance for passing on respect by reading this thread, thank you so much all who have asked much of my own thoughts already!
I bow down to the understanding shared in this thread and this mind blowing section: I finally know what the problem with my plants is, bottled nutes make them look "thin" in comparison, less lush and majestic somehow. The leaves reveal much and have always lacked lustre. I am always led backwards on this journey, and finally to soil. Thank you for carving lumps out of my research time!
