Yeah, I noticed that before when you posted. My mix has always been the later.

I'm not sure, but I have seen that other 4-4-8 formula around (and even a 2-2-8 oddly), but my store only ever had the decimal version. That is the ONE I've been using. The newer formula you have is the more perfected ratio. That is the one you want.

Thanks PR, I will run with this for the remainder of the cycle. Looks like I will need about 10-12 liters per cycle with my current setup. With the additional two tables I would suspect that number to jump to 20-25 liters. So $200 in nutrients, per cycle, for 200 plants. Not too bad.

Not bad JAT. I however am bummin' today. My mom's are all dead. :badday: J'ai Triste.

I think I can pull the one Bubble through...looking like shit and one Rhino...but I took about 30 Cinnamon Clones off the Peacekeeper to root and re-veg out of flower as well as about 4 cuts off the early finisher.

I suppose I can reveg the others after harvest to get clones. I'm so fuckin' annoyed, this is just like a freakin' ugly flashback of last year. The same freakin' thing happened and I ended up spending about $160 on seeds to get my Cinns/Bubble and 2 strains that didn't make the germ. Now I'm back to square one....again! Christ, how you plague me. lol

The impedance to knowledge continues, I've also found that I've been conveniently censored for my racial 'slurs' as it was taken. So I understand Ecotronic's point about hanging out here. Amazing you can discuss the most illegal and potentially dangerous activity but state the obvious about what you see around you and you are threatened with exile and complete censorship. Glad to see Fascism is still alive and well, pigs! :biglaugh: Opps..probably shouldn't say that either or I'm about to picked off by Big Brother. Yeah, pretty sure we'll all be extinct soon enough...not a bad thing in my book, I think Homosapiens did a shit job (Is that speciesizm? sorry) Perhaps the Dogs will have a better run at it in about 1 million years. They at least have a few eons of watching us fuck it up before they get a shot...lol.

Ah well, there is no elation without first experiencing the pits of hell. I just would like if I could experience not being kicked while I'm down...just once. But, I suppose everyone should get their punches in while they can, as once I'm up and burning full power as the Pistol Star I'm gonna blind those bastards all with my brilliance. Their negativity only fuels my passion to go super nova...and then they can watch what shit I can start. lol

But anyhow...first I have to pout about the death of my mothers. :badday:

however...sooonn,,,, my pets...sooonnnnn... (evil giggle)

but i dont wanna be a lame @ it...... so lets make this unit a TAG....

the sprayers it comes with are .19 @ ace hardware......
im sure threre not the right ones....

i have a flotec 3/4 hp.

im gonna go pick up a p.s.i. meter today so i can see what kinda presser im at.

any thoughts on this? should i just add new sprayers to the lines that are in there? or take them out & add them to the main line? redo the main line with pvc pipe?................

all dig the cam out tonight......... so u can get a better idea

Damn Pod, that sucks! You and mom's, they just don't like living with you or something. I just chopped up all my moms for clones, otherwise I could send you some. Sorry. Got any beans left?

00420 - Intersting. I know Liam did a coliseum grow with ultrasonic fog on OG, but I have yet to see a TAC (true aeroponic coliesum). That would be interesting.

Most sprinkler pumps, like the one you are talking about, give high volume/low PSI. This is the opposite of what you want for TAG'in - high PSI/low volume. So you are probably going to need to get a different pump. Most pumps for this application run butween $85-$140. The best foggers for TAG, IMHO, is the EXL's. They come in a variety of volumes. I am using the blacks right now, think they are .5 GPH if I remember right. Those will be your best bet if you run the right filter. Minimum 200 stainless steel mesh filter or these will clog.

Let's see some pics!

damn i did not think about that......... when i got this pump i was looking for volume to do a full stack coil...... but be cuz of plant number's im stuck doing them in 3 spots 60 plants each place......

anywho.... if a new pump is needed that might have to wait tell harvast ;)

maybe all just stick with a half ass aero for my first run.......

n pimp it out in 70-80 days......

Hey JAT - No worries M8, I couldn't ask you to bail my ass again, even though I know you would. I'll be ok, it just means an extra month of re-veg before I can take clones for my next grow, that is all. I'm just pissed off cause I'm gonna have to do it the hard way because I didn't act fast enough. I'm getting that Honda generator. lol

But I can re-veg from a 53 day old budlet, which I had to do last year, so I know I'll pull them back..just a PITA. :biglaugh:

420 - you can run a TAG with your sprinkler pump, there is enough to generate a decent TAE. Don't Sweat it. Just use foggers rated at 20-50 psi, Toros and XLs can all operate at those pressures just fine. I'd just run a poly tube through your colli and use the XLS foggers with a 200 mesh filter. It should work just fine.

You'll need a cycle timer that does 30 sec. on 3-4 minutes off and you're pretty much set. Good luck, bro.

Revegging sucks though. I did that with one of my K2 clones, it took almost a month to start growing again. That's a long time in my book.

I would be careful using a high HP sprinkler pump for the foggers. I tried running my 3/4HP Flotec and blew apart the feed lines everytime the pump shut off because due to excessive backpressure. The foggers weren't even coming close to flowing what those pumps push volume wise. PR - my pump was 1560 GPH, these foggers are 2GPH at most. You would need about 800 foggers to keep up with the pump output. IMO, spend the $80 and buy the right pump.

Sprinkler Driven TAG - Blowtec! Lotec! It still works! lol

Sprinkler Driven TAG - Blowtec! Lotec! It still works! lol

Agreed to an extent...but you can run a Tee off for the pressure remember. I am running Vader with a Sprinker Flotec 1/2 HP sprinkler pump and it does just fine. If 420 can't afford a pump yet, he can use that for now. It will hit a TAE for him.

Ideally, yes, a higher psi pump would be better, but the sprinkler pumps can work well with larger set ups as long as they aren't too elaborate. It looks like he is looking at like 60 sites, which he could either feed with 30 (1 gph foggers) or up too 60 (one per site) if he wanted and shouldn't experience too much of a pressure issue. I was running only about 20 Toro Hammers (2 gph x 20 = {40 gph/60}/2 = 1.3 gallons each cycle...which is oddly a 10th of the flow of your pump.

Your pump at 1560 would be 13 gallons per 30 second cycle, with 20 Toros its a 1.3 to 13 ratio. I have no idea if that means anything, but I didn't need a pressure tee with my Flotec. But the psi I get is around 45 with my Flotec and that setup.

Skywalker (using my Variable Speed Dia pump) is only running at 59 psi. Its maybe not ideal to use a sprinkler pump as you know JAT, but can be done if he can't swing the ticket yet.

Actually I believe my entire WonderTwin Grow was done with my sprinkler pump (that is where the shots of Clone 8 and the Pom Pom roots come from), so I know it can work with about 60 XLS Foggers with no problems. :biglaugh:

So, quite honestly my biggest yield to date is off a sprinkler Blowtec pump, however I do love my Aquatec Dia better.

420 - The Dripirrigation Store is one of the better sites...you just have to search the internet for what is available to you via online if you can't get to a Home Depot or Lowe's. You can get the XLS and Toros at HD, but we hate HD and their crappy company cause they don't stock shit.

http://www.dripirrigation.com/drip_irrigation.php?cPath=43_79

So I don't completely agree with you. I do like the dia pumps better, but the sprinklers do pack some nice muscle if you have to force some corners.

420 you can just run a circuit through your rig and have the foggers aim between each site or at each site and just make sure you are running a 200 mesh filter as XLS foggers do clog with anything under 100...easily. However we have found 200 is nice place where shit don't stick.

It is offical today, however...all moms are dead

I'll be forced into reveg after this harvest for a month to just get decent replacement clones. Maybe its not such a bad thing, if I decide to move I have everything pretty much ready to travel at this point. I'd just like to get a run in with Vader before I exist Florida. lol

Everyone else is doing well, the new cuts from the Peacekeeper sat at 92F last night as I tried to make a TAG cloner using my sump pump. Too much resistance. So I'm back to Lo-Tec FA Cloner and waiting for my Skywalker clan to finish so I can reveg the stems into viable moms. Didn't want to have to do that, its such a PITA. But...hey, I suppose I should suffer some ill effects of the hurricane, right? At least it didn't take the grow this time. Whew!

I'm just going to focus on pulling my favorites through, I only need a Cinn, Bubble and RhinoxBlue, HOG and the NLxHaze. If I can pull back the blueberries I will, but they just haven't been producing like the Sat Doms. I think my grow is as out of wack as I feel now. :biglaugh:

So after re-vegging the moms they will produce good, healty clones again? I always get clones from the same mother that come out quite a bit different as far as growth rate goes. I'm guessing that it depends on how much growth hormone is in the particular cutting when taken that makes it either a very fast or slower growing clone. I realize that the cutting's new growing environment has some affect on how it grows but I see a lot of variance in clones in pretty much identical conditions....If I could only make them all turn out like the best one.. :D

00420, I use this place in Willtis, CA. They are easy to deal with and get orders sent out very fast.

Should be a pretty sick rig when you get it dialed.. What strains do you grow?

G

GN - Yeah, I get pretty healthy clones off the reveg. Any difference I experience is probably more to do with maturity of the plant itself more than if it had seen flowering.

If anything I would think a matured plant that had already gone through a full life cycle would produce better, faster rooting cuttings. My reasoning is they've already ran the gamut of their chemical/genetic coding and are capable of re-veg for another season. As such I think the growth hormones are more developed and the plants themselves seem to have less issues stretching like cuts from a seedling. Young cuts I find usually stop and do a sickle whereas a mature clone will usually try to re-establish the entire plant again housing all the DNA and RNA structures to do so.

Not an excuse to take your girls through a full flowering, but I usually take my cuts during stretch once sexed and have never experienced a problem. Sans Hurricanes, of course.

But once I have a healthy ambitious clone like Clone 8 or the RhinoxBlue I have or the PeaceKeeper (if she produces) I'll use their stock as moms for the future runs.

Dripworks is a good site too...I get those two confused all the time. Either or...you'll find most everything you'll still have to do a little research to find out what you want. There are cheap versions and there are expensive versions and they work in relation to that sliding scale unfortunately. However, if you are going to be growing continously then it is worth the investment. Like I say...its funny you'd drop $100 bucks for a bag of weed that is gone in a week, but pay $80 for fogger nozzles that rock is Too much.. :biglaugh: I feel the same way about Starbucks and Dental Floss...I'll pay $3 for a Mocha daily, but $3 for Dental floss (that lasts like 6 months) is just too expensive. :bat: Where is the logic in that? :biglaugh:

Am I missing somthing or is the very useful list of links in the 1st page gone?

Sorry GN - I deleted them as most of them were outdated or not very helpful. Most everything can be found off the few sites we've been talking about. The sites themselves update and change too often for me to keep up with. That is why time 2 time I post where I find a great deal, so others can capitalize while it lasts.

If you need any of them, just go to the old OG TAG 101 Thread, it has all the same info. Most of it is over a year old however. There are better deals to be had now.

My original cost on my Variable PSI was $287 when they were all new and shit, now you can get them for about $150. So, better to scout around. It didn't appear as though anyone was going to the front of the book for answers anyhow, so why bother? :biglaugh: Someone is just gonna ask again. :D

I hear ya, It is nice to be able to send someone to the front for basic gear q's but if the sites keep changing I can see your point. It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep 3 or 4 links to the couple stores we talked about and maybe one from pumpbiz or another good pump source.

I went to look for pump info myself. No matter how I set up my vari. speed it keeps finding a bounce somehow. Very intermittant and unpridictable so I'm thinking of getting a constant pressure pump that matches the flow of my fogger manifold to solve that and I;ll have this one as a backup pump like I should have anyway. Ya know in veg or the first week or so of flower it won't break but when the beasts are on a heavy drinking binge I would not be surprised to have a prob. so I'll back myself up now :D Speaking of flowering today is the 2nd day for me. I'll post some p0Rn tomorrow.

If I can find a pump with an output that matches my systems flow that should work or I can get a acc. tank set up. In either case I can increase from my current 50psi to 60 or 80.

You mention making sense of spending money on these projects; I feel like I did when I was 21 pouring money into my car. Expensive rims and tires that I burned off in a couple months or the 10 million watt stereo so you can't hear shit, etc. This is my new money pit and it's fun as hell :biglaugh:...pimp my rig..

Nice photoshop work btw..hehe

Amen brother...lol That's the trick, its just a kit. :biglaugh:

I found that those bounces are usually caused by low intake pressure. I have found that by increasing the pressure of the intake (pump under the res or more volume in the res) it takes that pulse out. What I imagine is happening is the pump is sucking water into the line first, then pressurizing (with an escape) so the pressure drops and the pump then has to 'pull' then 'push' again until it gets an even flow.

By putting more volume in my res or larger size I find it completely quiets down. If you can, build up your column of water pre-pump and see if that doesn't help. It took me a while to figure it out, but if you have your pump pulling water out of a res and then pressurizing it you'll hear the pump all the way outside the room like a pressure washer going off. However, with a full 40 gallon res, you can barely hear it running right next to you.

They can prime, but they don't like too, just like the sprinkler pumps. They don't prime at all worth shit, you almost have to put them under the water level. The Dia pumps are just the same. Try that first, then seek the other method if it doesn't solve the problem. Screw with it a bit, you'll get her tuned in.

Tell you what GN, if you put together a list of sites with links I'll post them in the first post for ya, how is that?
