They loved being repotted into the airpots. They've all perked up and i can now count 28 tops... :chin:

We have a few pistils showing after 13 days of flowering 12/12.

Smells are changing. The mango smell has disappeared to be replaced by the smell of grapefruit.

One of them, the front right, smells of sausage meat with mint...Sagey...if you like.

Very long stipules on the back right plant that is under the CMH.

Yeah, Great now youre gettin' some action :woohoo:

It was hard to get the plant to move [grow] I think that might be good pots

Its more difficult to up pot with cloth.... The round plastic lends itself to the quick back fill and go

Thats like a turbo pot!

Your plants are kicking ass. You are doing an excellent job growing them. I wasn't trying to show off with the photo above, I just wanted to show you that pot size will determine plant size. Small pots grow small plants and big pots grow big plants. Your plants are growing like hydro plants. Thanks for sharing.

They are slow off the mark but i like slow n steady . I have good feelings about these :canabis:

Have you tried airpots? They are great. I was tempted to go for fabric pots but the holes in the airpots pinged my growtech brain and i had to have them, even though i'm trying to simplify things with this grow 🤓

Thanks bro. Your plants are amazing. I wish i had your space to grow. Ideally a room where i could comfortably sit and read while they grow.

Your advice to repot helped push me towards the airpots which i am very happy with.

Through repotting, the plants are a lot healthier and faster growing so thank you for the advice. This is what this site is amazing for.

When i was repotting the plants, the bottom couple of inches in the square pots were saturated with water with the top part of the pot dry.

The airpots prevent this compost stagnation from happening through overwatering as it provides more air and because the pots sit above the ground by an inch.

Never used airpot

Looking into it now

Its got a real advantage over cloth for uppot and for cleaning

I have sort of sworn off plastic...But indoor out of the suns degrading UV....probably worth a try

Clay pots can be good for airflow...are cheap....and earthen ware vibe I like

Cloth is really polypropylene fiber

I do a thing with lava rocks in the bottom of the clay pot and gravel mulch layer on top
If i go back to plastic pots i'd put some of those clay pebbles at the bottom for drainage but after trying the airpots i reckon i'll be sticking with them.

The plants are a lot perkier with the airpots.

Not sure they'll be that easy to clean after a run with them though.

these definitly need a tray below them , water runs outta every hole lol

And a large tray at that!

With airpots you have to transplant to create a divvet in the middle of the pot so the water can pool there before being absorbed. If you water them too quickly they act like a bucket with holes in

The plants are enjoying the extra air though.

Here they are at 3 weeks 12/12.

Smells are constantly changing.

Yesterday, i did a bit of underskirt trimming 😁. Smells were generally bleachy sausagey funk. I fed them a little canna boost after the trim and today they smell citrusy and of bubblegum o_O

I can second that on the purple light

It can be mitigated w/ 5500 T-5s but yeah, thats much easier one's eyes/general well being

You got them moving pretty good:biggrin:

Maybe cos i'm not messing with them as much

These are being fed with 2/3 strength one part Canna Terra nutes and 1/3 strength Canna Boost.

I'm going Oldskool, back to the 90's stylee with this grow.

Bigger stretch, different plant flower formation and structure compared to what i am used to with the yellow bottle 6 part feed but let's see how it pans out.

This morning I woke up to the smell that no grower ever wants to smell in their house... Fresh weed 😧

It's weirdly coming from the clothes wardrobe which isnt even near the room where the tent is.

Anyway.

The girls need a drink. and so do i :coffee: :coffee: :rasta::rasta:

Here they are at 4 weeks flowering.

We finally have the start of some nice flowers forming.

The flowers under the CMH (top right) are showing more resin and overall better development than the flowers under the HPS. Their smell is more complex and has greater depth to it too.

IMG_2027.jpg

But the flowers under the HPS are developing nicely too.

IMG_2023.jpg

Smells are evolving.

When you first open the tent you are greeted with the smell of oil seed rape fields at harvest and Heineken.

Cabbage and lager

But when you get used to that first pungent waft you can detect notes of Jasmine.

The resin of the 5 plants smell of

Vanilla and wet earth,
chalky banana kids cough medicine,
mint chocolate and Pomelos,
and 2 that have a generic Kush pear drop smell.

Leaves smell mostly of Sage stuffing with hints of bleach and Natural Gas.
