im tired of organic bashing synthetic...chemicals is what i use and i promote organics (which is still chemicals) to the people that grow in soil...but organic hydro is silly like the game mouse trap...i dont bash organics until it bashes me...i know a thing or two about the planet and synthetic nutrients being stopped is not saving it......preach that save the planet bull shit to some one else and i hope it makes you feel better because your doing your part..i was not talking to you head just the organic fanatic group.......we can bring science into this bitch and turn it out if you want...organic is not the bed of roses you make it out to be

Im starting to wonder if there is a difference in rate of nutrient uptake between organic and mineral sources. Although in the end, the elements are the same between the different sources. Is it possible that the symbiosis between the roots and microherd enable some kind of 'regulation' of nutrient uptake.
If i feed gh nutes, it is avail to the plant right away (as i understand). The organic nutes need to be broken down first. There are microherd 'regulated' ions available to organic fed plants, while there are human regulated ions by chem fed plants.
The ratios of available elements could be more dynamic with organics because of this.

Hydro is idot proof, any asshole can follow a Luca Formula and get a great crop, if you use RO water in ANY hydro system with AN or GH and boosters.
Organics requires a little more skill IMHO, it takes more knowledge about what does what, how and why.
This is why hydro on the whole seems to yield more, because the average grower can measure and adjust the medium and system alot quicker and easier.
It's like comparing making a cake from scratch or using a Betty Crocker mix, someone who can't cook will moan that a box cake tastes better.
You'd be very sick and poisoned in a few hours, I'd puke and be fine after a few minutes.
If I asked you to eat a handull of MG ferts compared to a handful of worm castings would you still be up for it?

Hydro is not idiot proof... following lucas formula will not grow you the best smoke you can grow with GH... It'll have too much Nitrogen too late and be harsh... lucas is for pushing yield, not growing kind... GH done right is indistinguishable from organic...

That's because in the Hydro forums, all the hydro methods that work well are accepted... People are there to learn how to improve their grow, not speculate about how harmful Purified Minerals could potentially be, and prove why their way is better...
I grew up on an organic 'hippie farm'(until I was eleven) everything we ate we grew or raised, and everything was organic... I've worked in landscape company greenhouses, and on several different types of farms... I used to only grow organic in soil, then I began to study and experiment, then learned enough to have no worries switching to GH flora series...
I buy organic meats and produce, because they are hormone free... because the cows aren't fed cows... because toxic pesticides are not coating them... and because organic growers take more care with the product...
I adhere to the same principles in my mineral hydroponic grow, and if you guys would spend more time encouraging hydro growers to do so as well... to do what they are doing in the right way, instead of giving 'holier than thou' speeches and smelling your own farts, then your agenda of lowering environmental impact would be much better served...
