I use 1/2 inch rubber grommets. Drill a 1/2 inch hole. Install the grommet and then use the tubing barbs to attach the hoses. I use a 1/2 inch PVC pipe for my drain.

I can post a photo if ya need it.

The lucas formula is not 'orderable'.

You must buy General Hydroponics MICRO + General Hydroponics BLOOM and mix them together in the Lucas formula.

The neoprene collars are not shaped like a hockey puck. more like a pacman. They have a slit from one edge to the inside, so to place a cutting into it you simple stretch it open it up to slide the cutting to the center. Good luck.

Ditto. The only inline filter i could find was the RainDrop Y filter. I Run 2 tables off of 1 800gph pump. The inline filter is rated at 750gph max and gives too much back pressure so i can't use it to run both tables.

Pirate, you obviously have success running multiple tables with 1 pump and filter. help a brotha out.

thanks boss!

Pirate, A+ I love the space you have. And the Ingenuity of growers always amazes me. I also have a secert door. It is funny how growing as a hobby tends to consume ones thoughts. I would love to move to the country and have a bigger space, that is in my five year plan. Just out of curiosity what are the demensions of your mother and preflower areas? They way you made those roll up walls on the shelves if awesome, for lack of a better word. Well I will be stopping in on your threads and watching. Once again A++++

QUOTE: I never use an air stone when I have sprayers going. The constant rotation and spray of the solution provides plenty of aeration. Never get root rot either. Ever !!

Knock on wood !!
==

I suspect when the spray hits the roots and flows by gravity down to the tray, it drags
air with it and ads to the nutrient & gets mixed by the pump sucking action.

And back to the sprayers.

Otherwise, how is air getting in (through the net pot?) since it seems a sealed system.

any thoughts on this.

Do the unit's with the separate reservoir work better than than aero/DWC units?

thanks

Sorry for the absence guys. (and girls). Been really busy with a new grow and a possible new "cave".

Some of you regulars in this thread can feel free to answer questions. We are ALL here to share so please feel free to help someone out if you can.

Thanks man. I appreciate that.

I would rate the Aquamist an A+ for sure. I still use mine for all kinds of things. Its stuffed with some new seeds starts right now in fact. Its never broke down on me and I have it running 24/7 for 2 years. (knock on my wooden head)

The only down side to me is the price. But.........if your not handy at all and got the cash then yes.......buy one and you'll be using it same day. Simply and effective.

Hope that helps.
