Good info on that EZ cloner tek back in the thread.
My aero/spray cloner is built from the Home Depot 'tough box'
(750 lb limit)
My drain pipe is the long way along the bottom & out through
a rubber grommet to the external pump which feeds my
sprayer manifold (about 6-8" from the bottom of my cuts), which also comes through a
grommet in the tank wall above the pump.
I'm sitting the box on styrofram sheet and floating
styrofoam on the water and keeping the water shallow
at about 6" or 10 gallons.
I'm dropping the frozen Ice-Brix from Staples box of 9 for $10.
3 at a time in the water to keep it nice & cool. No refrigerator needed.
This is a new design as my cloner water was 80-90 F
since Aug 4th ( I still got some roots on some but not all)
I keep fungi down with Pythoff.
I'll post how the temps stay when finished.
Pumps on the way.
EDIT: Oh yah, I'm using the Danner pump with the 'fractionating"
impeller with the venturi tube on the intake side for super fine
bubbles out the sprayer. I can drop some 1/4 tubing
from the manifold
down into
the tank along the side of the floating
styrofoam with a valve controlled sprayer
at the end ,to control the pressure in the
manifold and
for more air bubbles in the rez .
Anybody add pure O2 (cylinder) to the outlet side of pump for O2
spray on the cuts?
