looking good, That nl x bb auto must not be full auto if it reveged. Mine are at most 2.5 feet tall. I should not have started them indoors. Where did u get the green crack? and what latitude are u at?
Peace GG

Well it may only be half auto, as far as I can tell, but I'm not certain. It also didn't really reveg, she was starting to get lanky and throw off preflowers indoors so it seemed like she was getting ready to flower. After I put her outside, though, she grew like mad, so there wasn't any shock or anything. It's just like the plant realized it had more light and more room to stretch it's roots in. Not sure of the breeder of the GC, I got it from Attitude, gotta double check the seed packet if I find it. Lat is 42N.

Thanks to everyone else, too :tiphat: Still waiting for it to rain here... Gonna have to lug more damn water out soon if this dry spell doesn't let up, making me worry about the girls.

Looking good, Rosetta Stoned. The Swamp Gods will certainly approve of the landscape you have created there, leaving us mortals with the task of drooling like rabid hound-dogs, over the sight of those ripening spears of righteousness.

 Thanks Swamp Thang.

A little update

Went out and watered yesterday. Everything is fine, despite the dry weather. They must not have been too thirsty, due to the nice amount of growth I saw. The only one without buds now is the little Frisian Dew. And I am now sure that the other girl is the Auto (or half-auto) as I expected. She's also up to my chest and grew quite rapidly, and now has the white haired, early flowering buds. The 707 buds are doing well, but no frost on either of those two yet, too early. Should get a decent yield out of everything in the new spot, at least for the size they're at.

The Green Crack is doing excellent, buds real frosty, still just white hairs, but they've multiplied quite a bit. At least 50 good tops on this beast. Taller than me and I can't put my arms around it, sort of like the monster Brainstorm I grew last year. She's got a wonderful, familiar cheesy stink, with maybe a hint of BO or mildew :) Not unpleasantly so, however. I'd like to see how it progresses. With the amount of resin she's showing already, I've got my fingers crossed for some top shelf smoke!

No pictures, just because it was mainly to water, and with the lack of rain (there's only been small, insignificant amounts), certain bugs come out in full force (although less mosquitos) and make it an unpleasant experience to say the least  So I try to be quick. Luckily training is pretty much done for the year, and now it's mostly a waiting game.

Until next time :tiphat:

Thanks everyone! Hope the seasons all treating you well enough!

Picture Update :dance013:

Everything is doing well now. I went to water a week ago give or take a few days. The only thing heavily affected by the drought was the 707 headband, which had started yellowing on it's lower half. I got pictures then, but they didn't turn out good, and everything wasn't looking it's best anyways.

I watered them the best I could. A couples days later it finally rained, and poured a much needed couple inches, making up for the time it didn't rain. I visited again today, I picked up some more high phosphorus fertilizer, some bat guano, 0-10-0. I ended up emptying the small bag feeding everything. Hopefully it pays off, the buds are already progressing real well. Every plant got fed a little, top fed and some in water.

Also been hitting some cold nights, like 50 degrees F, maybe even dipping lower, no frost dangers, but enough to kick the girls into gear. And it seems to me they're showing it.

The smallest one has finally started to really bud, the Frisian Dew from feminized seed. The original largest plant was one of these, but died from some kind of termite related issue. This one is tiny in comparison, but should yield a little taste of the strain at least:

Here is the Headband 707, had a little smoke of this before, dunno how legit, but it seemed real (not a common enough name for people around here to be throwing around). Nice stuff. Anyways, she's doing significantly better, the yellowing has left and she's lush green again. Must've only been thirst as I hadn't fed her anything for awhile. Gave her extra gauno, want to see how it effects her:

And here's the Half auto, budding pretty hard now, nice main cola, lots of white hairs still.

Continued...

And last but not least, the monster Green Crack, looking lovely. Here is a front shot of her, possibly bigger than the Brainstorm (my biggest previous plant), maybe less sativa influence, but only slightly. A pretty even canopy, too. Hoping for a great yield on her. Lighting was good on this pic to see her bulk:

A shot from a different angle, from the short side of her:

And some nice flower shots. A few pistils browning off, but still mostly white, and only starting to get dense, but the size they are now looks promising for how much they'll fatten up in the coming weeks:

That's it for now, harvest is starting to loom on the horizon.
The idea of trimming the Green Crack is daunting, but the sweet reward at the end makes it all worth it. I just have to really keep a good pace while trimming and it'll get done.
That's all for now, until next time everyone :tiphat:

what state r u in if u dont mind me askin

Well Slender I would hazard a guess that our man Rosetta Stoned is in a relaxed, anticipatory state, judging by the healthy appearance of his crop. Beyond that we can only speculate....

Thanks for the pics and update! Those girls are looking really fantastic. I am glad you weathered this dry spell. Same up here- no rain for a month or so and then 3 inches in one day last week followed by a nice, cool, cloudy day to keep all of that moisture down. Hope you finish strong and safe! Your pics are inspiring- thanks.

Kygiacomo!!! - My pheno isn't too skunky yet, more cheesy, but I'll have to try and get a real good sniff of her next time. Sometimes when I visit all of them, the smells tend to blend together haha

slender Prefer not to say exactly where I am, just being cautious :tiphat: I'm at 42N, though, and I will say it's a decent place to grow, no Emerald triangle or anything, but the weather is usually good enough for a decent crop. Although the fall can get a bit wet so sometimes I end up harvesting a little early to avoid heavy mold loss.

Swamp Thang Sadly it's pretty strict with the illegality here still. Would love to move to Colorado or somewhere more friendly some day.

Mr. Miner No problem, I love sharing my grows with you guys here on IC, such a great community. Yeah that's similar to what happened here. It was a relief to not have to water anymore.

45th here stuff is starting to get funky :canabis: never be to safe

Things are getting funky here as well! Always gotta be cautious.

Small Update

I visited the Green Crack recently, and so far I've found a few small mold spots. I removed the affected buds, and for that I had a little sample. Definitely a strong high, good taste for being dried somewhat quickly, a little on the early side though. Plant smells amazing, very strong, hsomewhat hard to describe, has sort of the classic hashy smell with a little gnarly skunk. Keeps getting stronger each visit :D Hopefully I can keep her going for another 2-3 weeks. It hasn't been raining a whole lot still, so I'll probably have to do it myself again, but the rot is still forming a bit. Nothing on the little plants that I could see though.

That mold is annoying... Keep picking it out. Give them more time if you can. Doesn't take much rain to keep the mold going. Dew each morning can promote mold too, especially if the plants aren't getting sun and drying quick in the morning.

Thanks for the update rosettastoned! :smoke:

Thanks everyone!! Hope y'all are doing well with your harvest season!

pipeline: Yeah the mold is a serious factor around here, gonna have to take her a little earlier than expected, but it's not a huge hit to the yield or anything at this point.

MartianMarvin: I've had problems with deer and small animals in the past, but the chicken wire does great to prevent any damage from them, and once they're big enough to outgrow the cage, they're usually old enough to be unappealing to most critters. Also I spray with neem and hot pepper spray for an extra precaution. Caterpillars show up once in awhile, but usually aren't a huge issue, but one year they caused me a lot of mold problems. I believe my spray helps deter them a bit as well.

:woohoo:Update - Harvest impending:woohoo:

Hey everyone! Things a finishing up quickly here. Upon my last visit to the Green Crack I feel she is pretty much done, perhaps a little early, but definitely finishing. Some amber trichs, good density/bud growth, and the smell pretty much doubled in intensity from the last time, about 20-30 feet away I got hit in the face with it. Some white hairs still, but mostly at the top.

So I'm gonna chop her shortly, I would wait, but the weather is calling for a week of rain, which is kind of to be expected here. I was lucky enough to have it relatively dry until now. I'd prefer to take her now rather than have large mold losses and trouble while drying. Plus I'm not sure how many mold spots she may have now, as it's difficult to spot some of them until the trim, for me at least. I'll probably leave the smaller ones to see how they weather things out. The smaller ones tend to have less mold issues.

I got some much better pics and some nice macros this time around. Here are of few of her and her canopy.
