not trying to bring this back from the dead but i never posed my final weight and i am frign bored so i thought i would.
It was just over 14grams. not to bad for my first grow.

as far as the lights, right idea but i would go get some 6500k lights for the vegging of the plants. then switch to 2700k for your 12/12. be careful with that MG, the ferts could burn your little seedlings and stunt the growth. try to get an organic soil with N-P-K rating of 0.01- 0-0.01 or something close. your ferts you add later on will provide enough. and yes, perlite is good! 1/3 perlite is what i use. now your "city water" problem, go get a case of bottled water for 3bucks. works great for me! jiffy cubes are an awesome idea! i would ditch that cd case and germ in the jiffy cubes. seeds need heat oxygen and water. but they need to be able to breath. those paper towels make it hard to breath. id just carefully take um out with some tweezers and put them in there own cubes. i mean that is there natural place to germ right? i put my seeds in the fridge the night b4 to give the winter feeling then take them out and soak them in luke warm water for 24hrs, then place them right into jiffy plugs! 100% germ rate! for your pots great idea with rocks at the bottom! aquarium rocks work awesome! 1/2" layer works perfect. helps promote drainage.
