I can agree with being slightly sensitive. Had several friends not wanna spend the time dialing her like she needed...as in just adjust a few levels and watch ph. Organic coco was easiest by far.

So in your SOG do you run untopped plants? What kinda yield per plants? Ive only run one untopped of mine, just a lil gal and think i got around 2oz...nothing big and why i haven't run more untopped.

As for lemon- ya mine def has some lemon Sour d flave, especially in organics. In straight coco chems she gets just nasty chem funk.

I agree 100% on ph needing to be solid. I would get weird rust spots on my coco plants. Raised my ph to 6.0-6.2 and eliminated all the issues. Also very much like OG's she doesn't like a wet medium...probably because of ph shift. '
Nice thing is regardless of finicky nature she still puts out solid every time.

thank you! that shit will start yellowing and dropping leaves so fuckin quick outta no where its annoying. mad finicky. i couldn't even deal wit that shit to be honest and thats one of the reasons i dumped my main clone. these chem 4 s1's are fuckin bulletproof. aint no leaves ever dropping and there eating nutes like crazy its such a pleasure to grow. that was what i was hoping my star dawg experience was gonna be like but it didn't turn out that way.

the most i could get with my star dawg cut was 1.5 per light. i coulda got more but the plants would act real weird. there would be 2 clones right next to each other in the same medium on the same tray and one would have big ass buds on it and the other one would barely have shit on it lol. the same clone. too fuckin annoying. i do no veg sea of green in ebb n flow. 72 plants on a 4 x 8 tray no topping. like in these pics this is day 21. that aint sd or chem 4 though

Hmm, maybe longer veg and less per tray? Ive definitely over crowded beds and had that result- but that was beds and not cubes like you are running. From my experience Star should def be capable of 2per light...its the one I could count on if needed to hit weight regardless.

Done it with as few as 4 plants scrogged.

Ya chem4 is pretty easy to grow, but ill take stardawgs very improved qual over easy to run 4 any day. I even gave the 4 a second chance side by side and dropped her again. lol.

can't wait to see how they compare. still though star dawg isn't the end all be all. its great weed but not the greatest. . i just grew some shit that was more potent. the only problem is it yielded like shit. snype also has a cut of chem double d x chem d thats more potent. i know cause i grew it. who knows maybe your cut is on another level plus i still haven't grown the corey cut.

its a lot easier to get 2 pounds per light when you veg true grit. no one really grows my style get me? veg growth speed is real important

Im not saying my cut is the best, nor has anyone said stardawg is the end all be all. There are plenty of stronger strains, in fact i think the D is stronger but not as nice as many of the star cuts. Seems most think many of the star cuts are better than most the chems. Thats all.

Well i do see from your style, veg or not, that you aren't hitting the same weight or getting the same flavors as others are. Not ragging, just saying perhaps your method isn't leaving you with the same view of the cuts others have. Thats part of growing and adjusting to each strains needs... that is if they have what you are looking for and you have the patience to work them into their optimal performance.

lol. i wasnt stating anyone was hoarding just saying my opinion.. i know many older growers like 50-55.. and they never had any clone onlys.. and have amazing buds.. this one dude we will call Mark.. lol . not his name obv.. but mark found 20 seeds in 3 pounds of a skunky ass stinky greasy shit.. and popped them.. found 4 females that were worth keeping around.. now out of those 4.. 3 do good outdoors 1 not so much.. and all of his buds are better then 99% of what goes around in this area atleast.. never once grew anything from clone .just seed. an hes got 14 varieties.. and all blow alot of shit out of the water..

that post makes no sense. so he found 4 females in seeded buds? that's cool, but if he keeps the 4 females they are now clone onlys. he grows 14 varieties but then once harvested has to grow seed from all 14 strains again?
he must be spending a fortune on seeds.
secondly ''old timers'' always grow cuts. a few old heads I know have kept strains for decades. I don't know why the odd few people try to fling shit on clone only strains. people keep them around for a good reason.

sorry. ment he has never grown any clone only.. only from seed.. and cloned his own.. no1 ever knew he grew .. his son sold his bud..

basically.. never traded or talked to anyone. lol a lil late..but i wanted to clear that up lol

and i wasnt saying clone onlys are a bad thing. just alot of the time.. the way you get them sucks. getting clones is a nightmare. bug. disease viruses.. clones are amazing.. if you can get them from a good source who doesnt lie about genetics. or about having bugs or issues.

Whats up
I usually lurk hard on these boards and I'm actually new to icmag after coming to the realization that it's users provide the best info IMO.

I'd like to chime in on the stardog. I received a few cuts from a reputable source who knows the right people. I received the guava chem, stardog, and the GSC forum. I have since gotten rid of the guava but have been running the stardog for for well over 1 year. I have to admit I feel like it's one of those strains I have had trouble really dialing in to get the most out of her. I'd love some help figuring out which pheno I am running and I would love to hear if anyone has insight on it's feeding needs. I have run it with gen organics, house and garden, and in the pics shown Rock was used.

Veg time 3 weeks, 3 gal smart pot in a 80% pro-mix 20% coco mix. CannaSensizym/hygrozyme fed with every feeding.
