I don't care to debate anything with you, I stated my opinion and that's that. Surely I am not the only person who is looking at Skip's posts with a big "WTF" look on their face. This guy is clearly not in touch with reality.

Regardless of what some people think the Boycott has been a success by any measure.
1. The website of the organization that opposes medical marijuana and touted Starbucks as a sponsor is GONE! The Starbucks corporate logo on their home page that was placed there by their webmaster, possibly illegally, is what started all this. It was placed on top of all the other corporate sponsor logos, thus making it appear that Starbucks was the #1 sponsor of that organization.
2. Starbucks no doubt forced the shutdown of the site thanks to so many complaints against the company. They enforced their copyright as is their right (see how important it is NOT to copy copyrighted stuff without permission!).
3. Starbucks issued a statement about the boycott, denying their Corporate involvement in supporting the anti-mmj campaign.
4. The Cannabis community was mobilized within HOURS and succeeded in flooding Starbucks with complaints and promises to boycott their products.
5. Thus we have proven that the cannabis movement is alive and growing every day, and becoming more active and aware of how we are being targeted by special interest groups who want to keep arresting 870,000+ cannabis users every year for profit.
6. We no doubt made our point and the corporate world noticed. Next time they will think twice about supporting anti-cannabis groups.
So I hereby declare the Boycott a Success!
If ppl want to go back to Starbucks that's up to them as always.
Starbucks responded responsibly to the boycott, they listened to us, patiently explained their policies and I could find no particular bias against cannabis, other than the drug testing that the company does (not mandatory).
I still have one nagging suspicion I would like some Coloradoan to check on...
I'm thinking that maybe some Starbucks franchisee (or maybe several) DID actually sponsor the anti-mmj organization specifically to get cannabis businesses put Out-Of-Business because of competition concerns. Remember Colorado now has cannabis cafes, and the local Starbucks may have feared the competition. So we need to know if that was the case. Can someone examine a Denver map, and locate any cannabis cafes and their proximity to any Starbucks facilities. I bet if they are nearby each other, indeed a Starbucks franchisee may have actually given money to this anti-mmj campaign.

So it looks quite like this Franchisee may have actually given money to this organization since it would be in their business interests to remove a big competitor on the same street.
No doubt this Starbucks lost its stoner/medical mmj customers to the cannabis cafe! They must be hurtin'!
So we need to question Starbucks further about this. And anyone in Denver should confront this Starbucks owner about what exactly they contributed to this anti-mmj campaign.

Yes, but until now there haven't been Cannabis Cafe's to challenge Starbucks on every corner. Perhaps one day soon, there will be, thus they are trying to nip the mmj movement before it become serious competition.
