Gotta say.....Owl Mirror seems to have been crucified in this thread when in reality seems like he's one of the few with his head on straight....
I'm sure they think they are doing right.I find this entire thing hilarious...talk about an overreaction
You lost me at...
Yeah, that's kinda what I was getting at hahaI'm sure they think they are doing right.
If only they researched some actual facts.
Thread title:
Starbucks funding anti-marijuana lobbying.
Truth:
Starbucks does not fund anti-marijuana lobbying.
Well I found this Itailian coffee that is the best shit that I have ever found so far as far as coffee is concerned called LavAzza Rossa .. Best stuff out there as good as star sucks lol peace out Headband707
I just talked to the employees at the Starbucks down the street. You all should know that Starbucks does drug testing.
You don't even know if they test for weed.Maybe that's enough for a boycott, whether or not they support marijuana prohibition. They seem to support drug testing.
Sounds like this thread. So ppl now are presumed guilty until proven innocent.
Ya let's keep making up reasons to boycott. So let's keep the boycott going over the mandatory drug testing they do. Spread the word, the Boycott's still on!
How does boycotting a drink shop get our lost freedoms back?Let's use this boycott of Starbucks to get our lost freedoms back!
OK, here it is. Show where I advocated violence and illegal activities... Quote me, please.
Gotta say.....Owl Mirror seems to have been crucified in this thread when in reality seems like he's one of the few with his head on straight....I really hate this "us vs. them" mentality on these sites. I'm one of the most conservative, straight-laced potheads you'll ever meet, does that mean I'm not on the same level as the guy with natty white boy dreads and hemp bead necklaces?? Come on get real people, stop looking at everything through rose colored glasses
I find this entire thing hilarious...talk about an overreaction
What I responded to the guy who asked a question about violence against starbucks...As a moderator, when you do not step in and advise those who are advocating violence and illegal activities, you are complicit.
Skip said:I don't think asking a question is the same thing as advocating an act of terror.
To answer the question, it would probably put you in jail for a long time, accomplish nothing but generating sympathy for Starbucks, and a possible backlash against the cannabis movement....
I don't see a need for the violence though. We have found new ways to get our message across, and we are starting to figure out how to use the new technologies to coordinate things like boycotts.
Owl said:When a member is being unfairly maligned and, you remain silent, you are supporting those unjust attacks. Not only have you remained silent on the issue but, you joined in and personally accused me of being a government spy.
Skip said:Somebody can't take a joke...That said, I do like what you have to say, and you are free to continue saying what you do. But just expect more of the same response from the rest of the members here.
Skip said:I don't think anyone here advocates violence. It's pretty much antithetical to the cannabis mind-set.
But it's good to see we have gov't spies here making sure we don't.
OWL said:What have I done besides express my views and defend myself from these unwarranted attacks on my character?
OWL said:Good luck and I hope Gypsy isn't too angry that you single-handily got his enterprise shut down because of your personal bias towards anarchism, advocating violence and illegal activities.
OWL said:Do what you must but, I have done nothing wrong.
I just hope whatever you do, the rest of the membership takes notice.
OWL said:It's pretty obvious that people should never voice an opinion that the moderator doesn't agree with as that can lead to being banned.
I just talked to the employees at the Starbucks down the street.
No drug testing.
Maybe they test at the corporate level?
You don't even know if they test for weed.
Sounds like this thread.
Ya let's keep making up reasons to boycott.
Something is bound to stick!
How does boycotting a drink shop get our lost freedoms back?
Seriously, isn't there an entity that you could promote boycotting that actually deserves it???
