Is your Headband X C99 an elite clone, or from seeds?? I am growing my first headband, and one plant has a huge top bud. This is about 5 weeks from harvest.

Do you have to do pre-emptive bug treatments growing outdoors?? I had some indoor plants, and had no room, so moved outside for 3 weeks in an above ground pool. Brought them inside and they were screwed from russett mites and thrips.

I am doing my first LED grow with Vero 29 Gen 7's I built from kits. I am growing from seeds for first time in years. Have been growing only GG4. Now 2 Headbands, 2 Kosher Kush, Purple Afghan Kush, Skywalker Kush, and GG4 X LBL. Had a Truthband that was growing lame, so trashed it.

Definetly going to build another LED light setup for my other tent. Had built a nice RDWC setup, but went with coco again, since they may require different feeds. Also left a few lower branches in case I decide to reveg some of the better plants.

Do you run a closed loop extractor??

Be well!!

it's so wonderful being out in nature as the sunrises...watching the sunlight dapple through the overhead canopy of trees...i got all the seedlings in my 1st official patch this early a.m. (much more comfy to work in the cool morning before the sun starts to beat on you) everything is planted in groups of FOUR to help ensure females, mulched,& caged!... feels good

I have to ask how does planting in groups of 4 help ensure more females?

Peace GG

pretty sure he's not using that approach to ensure MORE females, he's doing it to ensure that each planting site ends up with at least one female, since he wasn't able to get them sexed prior to planting. Theoretically a 50/50 chance of each seed being a male, so odds of all four in one site ending up males is a little over 6%

Well the math theory makes sense. I thought it might be some sort of magical number that brings more females.

Cheers GG

ona's correct...btw these were all extra's that never even got transplanted out of cups,, i had them...the patch looks good & there's room for more! i'll get pics tomorrow...yeah...what i did was group the cross's by type and then planted multiples ...when they show i will cull and only leave to best plants to grow out..that' a plan at least
