i just got a purpose manufactured 3-inch x 36-inch stainless steel spool ...quite sure i'll be able to gently compress over 480 g's of marijuana in there for a blast ...

packed the spool and now i can see many many packings more in the oncoming days ...got some vac pump oil on the way 'cause you need to change the vac oil very often!
i was elbows deep in a bin grinding up flower clusters by hand and pulling out stems ...

Nice, you been shopping at BVV? I was looking at the 1.5 on the tripod with vacuum pump. I have like 8 zips of nice buds to run, but I may just save the money by make ice hash and budder.
I need a new tube but a metal spool will work better for me... The floors in the shop are a deadly end for all things glass.... My glass tube is in a million pieces...

Vac oven. It's a godsend for making oil. I set it to 89 degrees pop in the blasted oil, lock the door, get the hg's up to 30 and come back 5-7 days later.

i'd love that! sounds easy the problem is those vac ovens start at about 2 grand though ...AFAIK ?? pro models go for ridiculous sums of $, but i'm sure it's all relative to what needs to be accomplished
Star , just take and put a seedling heat mat under your vac chamber. That will give you the little extra heat you need to help with the purging. That's what I do and it works great.

The one I have was about 2600 to my door...well not my door. It's more than paid for its self. I can get 5 more dollars a gram with shatter. With the oven its consistent shatter. So 520 grams later it paid for its self. Took about 14 months to do so but in the long term end I make 33% more on the gram.
Yes it's just a personal run of some buds that root aphids attacked and I didn't want to nuke flowering plants.Buds are real nice but leaves dried up bad and I don't feel like manicuring them. I am way to busy to do that much work.
Would love recommendations brother, all this extracting is new to me I only ever did ice bags.
