have to check but I think I got a a good deal @$45 Net weight 4.52 pounds vs 7 ounces at $15.59 ...I’m surprise that you’re using flake instead of pellet for your goldfish ..what size are they?
I tried pellets many moons ago, they seemed to prefer the flake so it's what I stayed with. Fish are different size, some are maybe a foot in length while others are an inch or two. There is a new crop of fish every year in the pond, some make it, some get eaten by frogs. I dragged a snake out of their last year. Plus that damn Blue Heron killed some of my biggest fish last year....bastard...

They also have free aphids and gnats in their compost.... And probably in everything else too.
Yeah Fox Farm has issues, but that store has some pretty good prices on stuff in general. I thought of you also when I posted this, but I remember you saying you were near Saginaw, not really your neck of the woods.

When it is that time of the year to put my mountain bike in the truck and road trip I end up near whitmore lake all the time. I actually drive past in the work truck every week also. I just can't go shopping with a transit van full of weed.

This for example, I think is a pretty good price. Better than most places I have seen -

I asked my friend that manages the store in Clio. He says $36 plus tax but they are currently all out. And then he sent me these. Apparently they are concentrating on selling solar panels and if you want grow supplies you need to pre pay. Well that just got super inconvenient. I'll probably drive down tomorrow and see if I want to spend some money .

That’s a good sign you have a breeding population. I’ve seen YouTube videos usually goldfish have to be bred manually, where they actually squeeze The eggs out of the female …comes out in a huge long jet.

Yeah some of them have already dropped them here.. I've seen em as late as March with horns still though not very common... One year late season end of December I had what I thought was a big doe come in put the muzzleloader on her let her have it needed one more to top off the freezer.. go and find it and it was a 190 buck no horns was very disappointed in myself... Looked for them horns many many days never found em...
You must enjoy hunting because it takes a special kind of person to do that with the bad weather in all also I know you’re in it for the meat

Cookie got accosted by two little unleashed pipsqueak dogs & good thing she didn’t retaliate …dumbass owners did absolutely nothing to call them off & in This situation it would’ve serve them right… If my dog decided to snap back
My past neighbor took his daughters Yorkie out for a unleashed walk and the little yappy dog decided to show a big dog how tough it was. The big dog grabbed the yorkie by the neck/head gave it a couple of shakes. There was a $1,800 dollar vet bill and a dead yorkie. Of which the father told the daughter you owe me that money.

It only took seconds for it to happen.

What’s ironic is that these dogs were about 1/10 the weight of cookie but extremely aggressive and loud nipping at her she actually was seeming like she didn’t know what to make of it.…
