I guess that I am lucky. My regular hydro store shut down a few months back but I discovered a new one that is only 15 minutes away. They are billing themselves as "Canada's Leading Online Blah Blah" so we will see. I can easily pick up and they even offer free delivery for a $100 order. Just as a price check . . . that Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil is $39.99 CDN from them . . .

Just heard this on the news
They were covering the PA farm show...
They interviewed a Forester. He said
Pennsylvania's forests cover more than 16 million acres, which is about 58–60% of the state:
The state owns over 2 million of those acres.
The dude was wearing a wooden black walnut tie...LOL
Pics?

Oh and on the subject of tooth pain . . . Toradol seemed to work. I had it prescribed by an emergency doc who ended up doing several root canals for me. He was so good that the last time I went for one with him, I dozed off . . . really!
They shot me with Toradol in the emergency room when I went in with my left arm fracture past October …it did work

I was able to get in with a wholesaler when they opened here in town a couple years back. Met the manager thru a friend and got an accountset up. They supply most of the big licensed grows but now that all the mom and pop hydro stores closed down their pricing doesn’t really seem that great.
In other news I got a call from a representative from the USDA wanting to help me complete my yearly survey. Since my accountant has me filling taxes as a producer of agricultural goods I get these yearly. Want to know how many acres I’m farming, how many employees I have, how many cow, sheep, pig, chicken ect.
I think I may call her back just to see if I can get out of doing it any more. It’s like a 40 page questionnaire and doesn’t really apply to me.

Yeah man I’m really curious about this too I did my time in a shop like that and I always thought once things got legalized the bottom would fall out. The pay back time just doesn’t work out with expensive indoor equipment for the home grower once prices crash. Easier to just buy smoke from the smoke shop

Most commercial grows purchase directly from suppliers.

Cooperate grows winning on every level. Local owned shops and growers are lucky to survive.

I try to tell myself I'm happy for legalization because I'm no longer afraid of going to jail. Other than that it's hard to not think of it as a shit show. Could have been a giant win for local economies but that would be a real bummer for all the rich investors.

It's been a long while since I heard of any one blowing themselves up while making some butane extract... Maybe I just haven't heard of them going boom!
