sitting in limbo I can’t use the farm because we have no water so I can’t make hash . It’s just sitting in bags I’m not running any lamps not necessarily making enough sales. Also now top rear, right wisdom, teeth, molar, been putting off having it extracted, but I’m at Mission critical and it hurts so fucking much 😓 that’s gonna happen Friday morning.
I had one of those teeth taken out. As the dentist walked towards me I noticed he had a tapered metal rod in his hand, next thing he is telling me to open wide. He used the rod like bar to losen the wisdom tooth, then it was pulled easily with forceps. There was no pain involved.
The dentist was also my fishing buddy.

I’ve had clumsy Horrible extractions performed before …

When I worked there around 8 years ago that isle was filled with several pallets of soil on both sides. If was not uncommon to sell well over $10 k in product per day. Times are a changing.
Is the retail Sales of cannabis just killing the home growers now, Cause it’s so cheap to buy from the store No one can be bothered growing at home?
What’s going on there do you think?

This for example, I think is a pretty good price. Better than most places I have seen -

I get up there from time to time. I do keep an eye on there dank deals. Last score was a dozen wall fans. When I got there to pick them up the didn’t have in stock and told me they were going to loose money on the deal but they did honor their screwup.
I’ll get my wife some bags of ocean forest for her outdoor beds. I’m a coco guy so I don’t do peat based mixes.
The grow shop landscape has really went downhill. I have to drive 50 minutes to Battle Creek just to grab nutes these days.

What nutrients are you using with the coco out of curiosity?

wild caught supposedly is better for you and that’s primarily what I eat wild caught sockeye but you have to be careful cooking sockeye as it will dry up if you cook it to much.

Thank you
My wife thinks up the meals with some limited input from me.
We eat salmon every couple of weeks. That's a fact about the timing of the cooking. An extra 5 minutes can change the results. My favorite way is to bake it with squeezed lemon juice and slices. Sometimes with onions added.
We prefer wild over farmed any day. We like to buy wild when it is in season and I vacuum seal /freeze it. It keeps very good this way and for a lengthy time.

Drip Hydro powders as a base nute.

Dinner tonight was some curried mango Grouper with the rice and green beans.

Hmmm... I wonder whats up, grow shops all over are having hard times. I'm going to guess the folks who where growing, have stopped. It's like what happened to the cold prospecting supply stores once the gold rush was over or the BIG companies had gobbled stuff up.

If I want to go to a grow store it's 1 1/2 hrs drive one way.
The city next to me is about 1/2 hr drive and they have a Growers Supply store that sells to the vineyards and orchards around here. They are also cannabis friendly, I checked on the cannabis specific soil medium but you have to buy yardage, that does not help me as a small grower. They sell bales of commercial like Sunshine mix etc.

Someone on the cdn thread said they buy bulk soil from Costco once a year in the spring, cheap.

Yeah man I’m really curious about this too I did my time in a shop like that and I always thought once things got legalized the bottom would fall out. The pay back time just doesn’t work out with expensive indoor equipment for the home grower once prices crash. Easier to just buy smoke from the smoke shop

Most commercial grows purchase directly from suppliers.

Cooperate grows winning on every level. Local owned shops and growers are lucky to survive.

I try to tell myself I'm happy for legalization because I'm no longer afraid of going to jail. Other than that it's hard to not think of it as a shit show. Could have been a giant win for local economies but that would be a real bummer for all the rich investors.

I’m not against capitalism per se. but that’s a shit model they came out with.

I hope we get a fairer deal, like a clubs based model, where current black market producers can come into the light.

Edit: to be fair the grow shops were just middle men willing to take the risk on selling equipment for an illegal industry. Everyone I knew who got to scale quickly went direct to wholesalers or through legal horticulture suppliers.

always interested in prices (real prices) hard to tell what’s what from that menu but it looks like rosin there is between $20 and $60 per gram ...I’m retailing it for 40 wholesaling it for 20 but that all depends on the person and there’s definitely not enough sales but I am not in an area to make that happen either
$25 to $80 a gram here depending on who makes it
And now they are calling these temple balls. Not the temple balls i remember from the 70s
