American Red Squirrel I believe.
I grew up in North Stamford Connecticut. I remember a very good size population of the black squirrels, and I also recall there was kind of a species war between the black and the gray squirrels with the gray squirrels, extremely hostile, and eventually pushed down the population Of the black squirrels…. I guess squirrels have prejudice. They are dual citizens - we have them here as well. Fewer each year unfortunately as the larger blacks and greys shove them out. They only live around pine trees.
The red squirrel is the main squirrel found where I live south central BC. The douglas squirrel is found towards the coast, mostly.Looks like a brown squirrel. They’re a little bit rare around here. We have hordes of gray squirrels & very rare, black squirrels, and chipmunks of course
I like to marinate a lesser grade cut like a blade steak, it's like you mentioned some sections of the blade steak are tender other sections of it not so much. It all has good flavor though and marinates up nicely.I’m glad you know they are really really good. They vary in tenderness but sometimes it’s mouthwatering.
How about squirrel? Do you marinate them too? I imagine those lean bastards are pretty tough.I like to marinate
I’m such a geek nerd, i actually capture grasshoppers when they’re right under my feet as I’m working and bring them back to feed to my turtle … all sorts of critters inhabit that patch of mine little snakes, birds, crickets, grasshoppers, and toads and field mice. That’s a good sign of ecology.
You do manage to grow weedSquirrel= finnish monkey. We have way too few animals here. Must be the gentle winter and beautiful weather, the romantic four seasons of shit we have here.
watering twice a day and it’ll put some chest on your hair.. I’m definitely stronger working those marijuana musclesGood looking turkeys! I bet the farm lawn is a growing. Grass is jumping up around here.
Wifey cooking Peruvian Chicken, fresh dug red potatoes, tomato salad, sweet corn for din din.
Doggo and I went for a stroll and now sitting outside enjoying a fine Märzen waiting patiently for said victuals..
Forecasted is 10 more days of heavenly weather! 80 day 60 night. Perfection
That’s a good idea. I’m sick of the broiler at the moment.I like to marinate a lesser grade cut like a blade steak, it's like you mentioned some sections of the blade steak are tender other sections of it not so much. It all has good flavor though and marinates up nicely.
