Turkeys are not native to BC. However, turkey's don't know what a border is. I use to live in a small village next to the Washington border with BC. When I use to take my garbage to the dump I would quite often see a large flock of Washington Turkeys hanging out around the dump area. Lots of grassy areas and large Ponderosa Pines. Only one other time have I seen a turkey. That was a lone turkey along a logging road. many miles from the border.
