Turkeys are not native to BC. However, turkey's don't know what a border is. I use to live in a small village next to the Washington border with BC. When I use to take my garbage to the dump I would quite often see a large flock of Washington Turkeys hanging out around the dump area. Lots of grassy areas and large Ponderosa Pines. Only one other time have I seen a turkey. That was a lone turkey along a logging road. many miles from the border.

Kitty kitty definitely thinks he has found his tribe. He can be found with the young hens at all times.

Found some rainier cherries again yesterday. Our local store has been out for a few weeks. Grabbed a couple pounds.
