Here’s the latest electrical bill from NYSEG .. Man did they fuck me over it’s supposed to be an auto pay and they sent me bills every month but apparently they weren’t deducting because they made some unknown adjustment which I can’t figure out because they put me on hold For customer service and it turned into an endless loop but in the meantime they slaps me with this

I’m not exactly positive how this happened I’m supposed to be on the automatic payment plan they send me bills every month and it comes directly out of my checking account and they’ve been doing that and I’ve always been making sure that it’s been covered so now they slammed me with this bill and they said they actually haven’t been deducting the auto pay invoices since September so this is the entire winter bill but they’ve been sending statements that haven’t been getting credited it’s fucked up and it’s typical of my energy company
it says right there,grateful dead penalty + phish surcharge!

Ran into a similar problem lately just not as much money involved. Cable/internet company (Verizon) stopped sending bills in December and just last week were going to cut all services for non payment. Needless to say but just paid a large cable bill. Good luck out there :rasta:

electricity must be super expensive there,my rarely even hits 400/month during the summer when the coolers are going...that one bill would be almost a years worth for me

the biggest we have gotten this year was a bit over $300 for December. we had the Christmas decorations on all month, and youngest son wants it to feel like mid-July in the basement; had THREE different heaters going.

if i was billing like that, i WOULD do it over the phone. folks would be coming in carrying guns and shit...
I am so pissed off right now I really think they’re double charging me and then robbing me and then they make it impossible to talk to anyone over the phone it’s the most fucked up company dealing with this shit today! they just sucked $3900 out of my account apparently after fmonths of not billing and now there’s another $900 charge and I can’t even get anyone on the phone to explain what the fucks going on so yes I’m very pissed off way too early in the morning

OK I finally talked to customer service and got it all squared away their system detected my drastic increase of electricity usage in the fall and called it “implausible” so therefore stopped billing until they got an accurate reading Ha I’m implausible

how many watts have to be running before you rate as "implausible" ? WTF...
