You guys are very passionate about this, that's awesome!!! This attitude is what makes a great scientist........you guys just need to go get the papers (diploma) and you could do this kind of research and get paid for it.

School would actually be fun for you guys because your genuinely interested in these topics.

Kind of an underlying joke in my industry...... Every time Biotech gets mentioned, someone in the room brings up Monscumto lol..............Just because I'm a scientist with a background in biotechnology, doesn't mean I agree with what Monscumto does ethically.

Research mostly, Right now I'm doing a coop at a research center that is heading up a project to try and find the gene that is responsible for Alzheimer's disease........see if there's a way to "turn" that gene off or possibly take it out or replace it with something else.........I'm part of a very large team that is working on this in a lot of different areas, mine is on the genetic level........I've been offered to do my masters there, but I'm not sure yet.........The money really isn't in research, it's in starting up your own company by bringing to market a product or concept that fills a need......easier said then done I'm afraid lol.

But yeah, not a fan of Monscumto........or the stupid, profit driven shit they do.......kinda like the "Greenhouse seeds" of the Biotech industry if that makes sense lol.

I would assume they patented it because someone paid them to do research into that area specifically or to develop that specific product.

The only time any company does research into anything, is if their is a profit to be made..............It is a business after all...........Lab equipment, Lab space, staff, chemicals, all cost a lot of money, ain't free.
