You could always goto your local HomeDepot and pick up some Hot Shot No Pest Strips. They work great!

Hot Shot "No Pest Strips" are by far the best and simplest way to kill those buggers. I hang them inside my plants for a few weeks. No Pest Strips = Dead bugs Fast

Those things will kill Any thing walking or flying inside that room, hell, they'll kill you if your in there long enough!

I think that's exaggerating, I used one of those last round and I think it slowed them down, but they were in there throughout the grow. Has anyone ever tried to double or triple up on these, say, in a closet?

pyrethrin is da shit! I have used this in the past and it works well..... infact I have used it on all previous grows.

its natural, from the crysanthemum plant... it has no residue cause it breaks down over a week or so.... its not toxic to ppls

you can get it at the supermarket, garden centre/hardware store/grow shop... and its pretty good price usually

if you decide to try it make sure its a natural one not a synthetic... and check to see if it has white oil in it.. this makes it sticky to the planty's.... but it is not good for some types of foliage "Do not use on plants with hairy leaves, ferns or palms"... so you may want to avoid a pyrethrin if its got white oil in it... I dont know if its good or bad...best to avoid in my view

I was saying just last nite that I hadn't seen any mites on this grow and I am about at the time when I see em... my grow is in a diff location ATM... so I am going to take the opp and spray my grow space before I bring the plants back here

its nearly odourless... and it works pretty good... make sure you spray under the leaves... thats where the mites hang out and lay eggs... its hard to get all the places... but you need to ...I get some gloves on and get in there and move the plants n buds about

if you are close to harvest be careful incase you make your buds too damp... could go mouldy on ya... what ever you use.

goodluck with it

unregistered - i bought some smaller ones that were on clearance (i'm guessing that they were old or something) that i found when i first went out looking for no pest strips, hung like 3-4 in closet to kill them with no avail. went out and got the hot shot as pictured, and they were gone after that. so i would say that it IS possible to get an bad/old pest strip. at least try another before giving up. after getting rid of them, i rotate the NPS around to different cabs/closet, make sure all the plants get a taste. :bat:

on the other hand, i feel it's best to warn if you are health freak, than the stuff MAY not be good for humans. there's that one stuff in them, that affects the nervous system of something, can't remeber the name of it. just a heads up.

I have used the SMC, it works great..make sure you really mix it up well. cant use it in flower thou.. i started with under the recommended dose just to see it the plants would be effected by it.. no problems.. shit work well.. i sprayed one week , noticed the mites were dropping like flies.. use it 7 days later to make sure it wiped them out.. but my veg and flower chamber are in two seperate rooms one outside and one inside.. Keep It Green and Stay Safe.. HE

It says the SMC is made from all natural things but doesnt say what they are. It also calls itself a " leaf wash " instead of what I would want to see a miticide. Im always leary of products that have invasive labling.

Pyrethrins are probably one of the better " less toxic " insecticides to use, especially around consumables but they shouldnt be considered non-toxic.

i tried hot shot no pest strip also , a friend from usa sended me some to try ,and i think it doesnt work in a bigger room, because all the air you're sucking out of there. in a smaller room (closet)it probaly does work.

lol thats a good thing?

i prefer more natural methods of controlling pests.... 1tokes simple mix has worked perfectly for me... 3 dollars at the local grocery

mites have like a 7-10 day cycle, so ide pray again after a week or so to make sure you killed all the eggs.
