do you know the npk of the fish juice, and the rest of the products you are using, then i can tell you the proper amount to use to get rid of this problem

stain always has a say in what nutrients and c are the plant takes, if the strain isnt stable the care and nutrient rewuirements are going to be difficult, take blue berry for an example,dj short or dutch passion they both are picky as hell and not for new growers because there nutrient requjirements are picky and nutz, i have grown it and know why its picky

one day it needs food showing nitrogen or something you give it smal amount tocorect it and bam you over fed it....... its picky

but anyways your problem is how often are you feeding with those nutrients and how much? and can you give me npk of each one?

like brand name here npk here and then the dosage and how much

Plagron Alga-Flo is PK 13-14
Fish-Mix is 6-2-4
SF94 is 3-5-5

About Quantity, Alga Flo goes at 3/4 of a cap (big) per week.
Fish-Mix is about 2/3 of a cap (medium) per week
SF94 is about 3 cap (medium) every ten days.

THe progression of the yellowing was noticeable everyday, but since I switched back to SS Visemulsie (no idea about NPK - this one goes at half a small cap every 5 days or so), it seems to have stopped.

Fish-Mix = Big Shit !

Heat stress?

Heat stress?

i was just wondering what this might be... i was leaning towards heat stress, but there is some disagreement between my friend and I..... temps are around 85-90f, right at canopy level. lights on at 5 pm for 16 hours, so not much of a real cool period. More pics in my gallery if needed.

Thanks so much for your help,
Kq2g

ok for one they need lower temps definatly!!!! they also need there own pots now too!! thats 2 definate things

another thing temps need to be under 80 but not under 70.

are you using bottled water to water them? if so STOP cause if your using the brand in that picture its got added stuff in it thats not good for cannabis

another thing are you using any nutrients? if so how much how often and the brand?

you also need to test the ph, when you water run off from excess water comes out the bottom if you got holes in the cups, you test that with ph test strips

you look like you got ph issues. but your plants are root bound which is a problem

i would first get them into pots and get the temps down then i can tell you more fter you tell me what6 your feeding is like

well i got them in one gallon pots right after i shot all those shots.. i am trying what i can to keep temps down but i am having trouble getting things below 80 (ever) and its hovering at around 84 most of the time... No i am not using bottled water to feed the girls, just plain old tap water at a pretty much neutral ph if i remember rightly...

have yet to test my PH

I am not feeding them anything as of yet, on a suggestion from the person i got the clones off of.... any suggestions? i am trying to do this as organic as possible.... there is all kinds of stuff in the soil i bought (bone/blood meal, earthworm castings, and so on..) and i put some perlite in there... No other soil ammendments added, but i was thinking of doing a tea or somthing for feeding

I water when it gets dry, about every 3 days....
got any suggestions on what to feed em? (and how often) I would put them at about one month old.

i have them in one gallon pots under some CFLs (four sour diesel clones of two phenos- two Sour Diesel, two of a more diesel-y pheno)

if i missed anything important let me know, i will tell you what you need to know.

Thanks for the help, and im glad to see you didnt get locked up stitch..

i noticed i have roots coming out of the bottom of the pot, and i just transfered to a one gallon two and a half days ago (from a 16oz dixie cup)

what is the normal rate for root growth? is this just the explosive growth i was hoping for?

How long do you guys leave your girls in the one gallon.. its looking like these plants are only gonna be in there a week max at this rate... i will have pics in a day or two....

Hey kurly sorry for late reply, i finally got done with my book and final edits are being made..... my time was working on getting it done in time

ow long do you guys leave your girls in the one gallon.. its looking like these plants are only gonna be in there a week max at this rate... i will have pics in a day or two....

12 in tall plant per minimum 1 gallon size pots
you are seeing root hairs, not tap root
root hairs coming out the bottom are fine, its the tap roots you want to worry about
theres no way its rootbound in a few days

do you see any webbing on your plants tussin? Your plants are severly eaten up by mites or thrips

go to the first page on here and read up on mites and thrips, it will tell you how to eradicate them and get rid of them

how far into flowering are your plants>?

thanks stitch

they are still in the one gallons, and i got them under a new 4 foot 4 bulb Sunleaves flouro and they are blowing up. The tallest one is about 14 inches tall and 13 across (thanks to LST) and the average height is a foot.

they began to yellow a few days ago so when i watered i gave them nitrogen and they are almost back to normal...

I just started feeding them some nutes the other day.. about a liquig oz of Dr.Persiful's Organic Worm Tea, and a tiny tiny bit of foxfarms grow big to a gallon of water.(tap)

Any other suggestions on what to feed them?

4 plants (2 each, of 2 sour diesel IBL phenos)
one gallon pots
Soil with perlite, great circulation, about 2.75-3 days between water....
temps are still around 81-84f, I mist 3 times a day or so

thanks for all the hard work stitch, if you need any other info or anything, just ask.

I have only just started to feed them nutes, so what do you think might be a good schedule to try?
{about a liquig oz of Dr.Persiful's Organic Worm Tea, and a tiny tiny bit of foxfarms grow big(more to be added as time goes on) to a gallon of water.(tap)}

I am thinkin like every 3rd or fourth water, but i am open to any suggestions, commentary, and criticism as this is only the beginning.. I have so much yet to learn....

I have no micronutes (yet) What should i get in your opinion?

You rock Stitch, thanks again for everything. Im glad there is somone this experienced and willing to help, I can only imagine how many peoples grows you have saved......

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to MynameStitch again.

feed once a week, worm tea is good to use i loved using pure blend grow, that is a tea mixed with guano's and such

if you use fox farm grow big and the worm tea then use half of each, with the grow big i would not excede 1 tsp per gallon of water

if you use both use 1/2 teaspoon of each the grow big and the worm tea

as for micronutrients get some earthjuice microblast and then get ahold of some dolomite lime pelitized from local hardware store or garden shop

sprinkle some around the base of the pot, keeping it away from the stem, after putting it in the pot, use around 1 tablespoon or 2

when you water you will have calicum magniseum, added

dolomite lime is also a ph adjuster

earthjuice microblast lacks calicum, which is why i say use dolomite lime with it

as long as you feed every 7 days you will be fine, some people feed everyday but very small amounts, i say feed weekly, its much easier and less hassle mixing nutes every watering

Hey thats what i'm here for :) always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asks for help :)

well on overgrow i had over 6,800 post's lol

i practicly lived there....... so now my time consists of writing my book, and helping out on about 3 different sites.... this thread is being turned into a book, with lots of more information added, more pests dieaseses and more stuff like on lighting issues, cloning and much more

Hi Stitch....

I love this thread, and have used it several times as problems arise. I am having a problem that began last week on one plant and as of today it has spread to three.

Im using the full line of Advanced Nutrients and have my clone, and veg chambers in the same closet. My soil is 55% promix, 45% perlite. I did not add Dolomitic lime when I first mixed my soil so I added some Liquid Lime a few weeks after I initially transplanted the girls (when I first noticed some Mg deficiency). I've been under the impression this is either Phosphorus deficiency or excess, but I wouldnt see how the issue would affect only 3 of the 5 plants. My soil pH is around 6.5, fluctuates slightly, and I have them under a 400w MH on 18/6. I first got these plants from a friend at the end of August, he put them through a lot of stress, so I had them recuperating before I decided to throw them in flower. The temperature and humidity stays within acceptable parameters. They have been in Vegetative State since early August.

The few things that have me worried.

1. I might have overdone it with foliar feeding last Monday (when I took clones from the plants) but shouldnt this affect all 5 plants the same and at the same time? Not one plant showing signs first, then a second, and finally a third, over the course of a week and a half?

2. The clones housed in the same room have been receiving a spraying of JumpStart Cloning Accelerator and I used the recommended amounts. I keep a humidity dome over them but I do open it up to give it sprayings twice daily. Maybe the fan carried some JumpStart Solution over to the other plants.

Your suggestions on how to get these girls back to 100% would be greatly appreciated, Im trying to throw them in flowering this weekend.

I was thinking that maybe if I transplanted them into bigger pots and started flowering it would help/solve/aid the situation and help me figure out whats going wrong with them...

Here are some pictures....

are these all the same strain?

how tall are the plants and what size pot you got them in now?

what soil mixture are they in?

You have used way to much nutrients and burned them badly

how often are you using your nutrients and how much?

You also have a buildup of salts, how often do you foliar feed?
your plants nutrient uptake is severely hindered from to much of certin nutrients

thank you all for the comments! Sorry i have not been around, recently I have been searching for my boyfriends birth family, and god answered our prayers and I tracked down his birth mother and we are in the middle of a reunion right now :)

So its been very emotional and very hard and sad all at the same time, its been a very long time since he was put up for adoption.

New york state is impossible to get any information from, so I had to go by non identifyin information to track her down, even call schools and alumni's it was nutz

anyways im back now so my time will be back here where it always is :)
