Spider mites help

Agrimec works immediately on mites that feed on the sprayed area up to 2 weeks into the future but not to be used on smokables. Wear protective clothing and hold your breath while using it!
Spray once. Sorted ☠️

The spray is absorbed into the leaf and remains active for up to 2 weeks. It doesn't move through the sap stream of the plant. It will kill the adult mites immediately and when the eggs hatch and the young mites eat into the leaf they will be eradicated as well.

Found this, so probably needs a few applications. I had to trash entire grow and all mothers from insanely resistant mites that were not from outdoors but warehouse grows that must have been exposed to everything, Even sealed tent 5X5 with 2 no pest strips for 3 days and no effect on them. The one cutting I saved i dunked daily then sprayed with Venerate which does not kill adults but prevents early stages from molting and get crushed to death.

Environmental Fate[edit]

Abamectin degrades rapidly when exposed to light (photodegradation) on plant surfaces, in soil, dung and water.[15] Half life of Avermectins (including abamectin) varies between 0.5 and 23 days depending on the rate and substrate (water, soil, faeces or plant).[16] Avermectin B1a applied at 0.02-0.03 lb ai/acre (50% higher than recommended rates) resulted in very low residue.[17]

Non targets[edit]

Abamectin is highly toxic to bees either if they consume or come in direct contact.[18] However, plant parts exposed to abamectin spraying did not cause toxicity to bees 24 hours after treatment.[18][19] The reason for lower toxicity in foliage is due to a half life <24 hours in plant surfaces.[20]

I can’t seem to find agrimec online for sale. Where did you get your bottle?

Bullcrap.. i bought 70% iso and mixed 30ml to a liter which is much stronger than your recommended ratio and dipped the plants in it for 5 seconds in a swirling motion and 24 hours later the spider mites were still moving no problem so.. i gotta say bull.
While I have a few theories on why it didn't work, the ratio I posted is significantly weaker than what it should be. It's supposed to be 1 pint to a gallon, and not one ounce like I posted.

My apologies. When you try it again, be sure to use a surfactant and *SPRAY* completely while protecting the root zone. Dunking is not what I posted and will not be as effective anyway.

Is your measurement a US Gallon or Imperial Gallon ?

I have in the past been able to be rid of them by alternating the use
of horticultural soap and neem every other treatment.
Careful application with attention the to the reproductive cycles
was what allowed it work for me. Best of luck with your efforts.

After I was rid of them, I continued to use neem and safer's soap once a week as part of my regular routine. Best of luck with your efforts.
