the seeds dont take 6 weeks. on average its more like 4 weeks or even 3 for them to be dark and loose in the seed pod.

I've always heard 4 weeks as well. Oh well. If I pollinate this weekend, the seeds should be mature by late June. Now with seeds, how long should I dry the before germinating? I know they must go into a dormancy period or else germ rate will be terrible. Say the seeds are ready June 18th. Do you think I would be able to germ more at the start of july in order to get another crop in this summer?

Haha yea we polish off a gallon every 5 days or so.

Thanks for the info. 4 weeks will still work. Should finish the second crop around end of sept. About when most regular strains are ready

so u cant just grow some seeds and then plant instantly, does this work for most varities or does some cannabis seeds take really well to an instant planting once they fall out, lets face it in nature this probally happens if there to survive. i cant imagine them in the tropical sun not drying out n dying from laying on the forest floor after the female has cast them off?

you can plant instantly ive read about the auto breeders doing this ask joint doctor or mdanzig. to be safe wait a day and then put in fridge overnight and i assure you germ rates will be good.

well I thought about this too.....as in nature they would jus fall off and sink in the dirt and start growing...but I havent seen it myself as to how long it take for them to sprout, "natrually"...1 day , 2 days, 3, wks 4wks..? who knows? if JD or mdanzig say you can then you can...and i guess that guy seems to know....

These have been outside for a week. The weather has been fantastic and I am watering them every couple/few days as they need it. The jugs are nice. Just pick it up to see if she needs water. Other than that, they have been neglected. They are sitting in some high grass and are completely masked. I could easily see a huge field of these going completely unnoticed. Fantastic.

Thanks dargo. They're smelling a little more like sweet citrus every day, mixed sometimes with a sweet skunky whiff. Considering it is day 42, I HIGHLY doubt day 60 will be harvest day.
From the looks of it, I am leaning toward day 75-80, unless they start producing bud at an unparalleled rate.

Me too, but it does look like it will be a while yet. I was hoping to harvest by mid-June, but at this speed it will go til end of june early july!

yeah i figured they were really sour 75s. some of those plants of yours at six weeks are still what 35 days away from being done id say.
