Hawt diggity bruh, Looking fine in there...

Interesting findings with the soil yielding more than coco... I have often read that when watered like soil coco acts like soil and when watered like hydro it acts like hydro (growth rate wise) drippers might be a thought if you decide to try coco again, to test that theory.

Your day 41 now right? If my math is right :)

Bud Bug, those are awesome pics, such a simple and effective
grow you have. Was just wondering how do you water all those
plants, do you pull some of them out, or something else? Just
asking because I was wondering if I buy a DR150 and try something
similar how I will have to water them :)

If you were starting from scratch like me, what would you suggest
the perfect sized tent to grow organic? For example, a 4 x 4 tent
with 25 plants, or 36 plants, etc???

Because, I don't really want to pull out that many plants out and
water them so frequently, I'm quite lazy

I water them by hand and pull out about 1/2 of them and then water away. It only take like 10-15 minutes so no big deal. If you don't want to do hand watering then you'd need a 1/4-1/2 HP pump with a water wand. Then just water away.

Doesn't matter for organic as its still gonna grow the same way as chemical food. It really depends on how long you want to grow for and how many plants.

I personally couldn't handle growing my plants for 14-16 weeks like so many people on here do. Just too long for me and in that time I could have finished of two crops. Yes you have to double/triple up on the amount of plants but that doesn't worry me. If on the other hand your local laws prohibit you from growing too many plants then I guess you'll have to do it the slow way.

...that doesn't seem that bad, at least so far I am not that lazy

...this is obviously a much more effective approach, imo, and the
speed with which you go from clone to harvest is amazing.

I really love your approach, and since I will be growing for my own
consumption, this is very close to what I had in mind. The only
difference being that I want to grow and try many different strains
for myself, so I was thinking of using a DR120 (4x4) tent with a
600 watt adjust-a-wing (not air cooled) and growing 12/12 from
seed using only a 600 MH (with the extra red spectrum). In Europe
where I live, these are quite popular.

After reading all the information on these forums, for my own
consumption, I think the MH will give me what I am looking for
as far as the high. Maybe I will lose something on yield, but taking
into account that I will be smoking mostly sift and bubble hash
and only using the weed on the bottom of the bowl, I don't care.

This is how I have been smoking weed in the past year, and the only
adjustment that I will make is I will use a vaporizer instead of a
regular water bong. Or one of those "vaporizer" type water bongs,
because after a while I don't like how my throat and lungs feel
after inhaling smoke over an extended amount of time.

This was the main reason why I stopped smoking tobacco 15 years
ago, and have never touched it since. Personally, I love the high
I get from weed and hash, and the taste, -- and the vaporizer
helps to accomplish this quite nicely :)

...at least the many, many vaporizer hits that I have inhaled in
Amsterdam in my last three times that I was there, seemed like
exactly what I am looking for !!! I live 24 hour drive from
Amsterdam, and have been using this opportunity in the last three
years to find exactly what strains I want to grow, as soon as I have
this opportunity.

Anyway, I have subscribed to your thread, and look forward to your
updates, and maybe if possible some dry bud shots, and a smoke
report. Your grow is really an example of the "KISS" principle !!!

really simple, but at the same time really effective :dance013:

later, southflorida

I'm actually more excited about the next grow. More new equipment and more experimenting.

It looks like flowering has slowed, but I'd let them ripen up for at least another week. Unless you like that soaring headie high. :2cents:

Peace
KB :joint:

Unfortunately I have to cut them down this Fri. I just smoked some yesterday and its was a HIGH and not a stone. Way better effects then stoned PK downer effects but its a personal choice at the end of the day.

Here's some info on the next one which I'll try to get going around the 15th of the month.

2x DR 100L tents modified into one 3.3 x 6.6 tent. One will have to be upside down so the doors match.

Light rail + 1000W HID with air cooled shade.

72-88 Diesel or 007 or maybe still PK

Haven't decided if I'll go back to 1 gal pots or build three 3.3x2' tables.

Awesome! Very inspirational. I've got some clones and a 120x120 tent that I'm about to fill up. Nothing as efficient as yours but anyway.

About chopping them. I think you'll gain a lot of weight if you let them calyxes swell. Should gain lots... But, as you said, it's personal choice.

Great job!

Beautiful Bud Bug! Looks great!!

They do really look like they would like another week, but as you say your pref, your grow so down they come :) They look killer anyways man... I'm just turning the corner to week 6, full blast on the PK and lower the nutes some.... I have been feeding a lil too heavy with no run off so one plant got a bit burnt :D Will sort that out with final phase so nothing left in them come the end... What do you do re flushing? Use a solution or just plain water?
