Smoking On Probation?

I'm trying to clean out my system after yesterday's small toke fest...some bubblegum was awesome..nice cerebral that led to a body high...but alas, no more smoke until I pass this first drug screen, then kinda feel things out...shit, it's better than being in jail, but man, I'm gonna miss smoking herb.
Is smoking that fucking important?I don't understand this mentality.moving to a med state just to smoke comes to mind as well.its just fucking weed.try doing hard time and see if its worth it.but more than likely you would get a PV and get 30 do 15 days county time.
So, I've begun the process of cleaning out my system and abstaining from weed...I had a little fun over the weekend, but I didn't even smoke a gram, just got a nice taste.
I looked into Potable Aqua, which you take with water to completely clean out...I've been doing the massive amounts of water plus the cranberry juice/vinegar...
I just hope I don't get tested, like the last time I was on probation...but that's not likely.

I’m confused. You have 2 years probation. You live in a legal state. You have a medical card. But you say some of your charges are marijuana related? What are the marijuana related charges?
If you are on probation for marijuana related charges I don’t think it very wise to use marijuana. Not sure of the laws in your state pertaining to probation and medical use but the rules of your probation were probably spelled out and I would imagine they’re something on the order of not using and drug testing. A probation violation could reinstate your original sentencing in total (how much hanging over your head) and also what the judge may issue additionally for the PV. Talk to your lawyer.

Yeah, my charges were partly related to cannabis, so probably even with the new law allowing probation people to smoke wouldn't apply to me..not sure, but, I'm not gonna try to smoke from now on.
They did just pass a law though, that allows probation people to smoke with no fear of failing a drug test...there is on person I could ask though, my public defender..he might know.

Tell your probation officer you request him/her to tell the judge presiding over your case that you intend to use cannabis while on probation, and that you will happily take the drug tests to show them you don't use other drugs, but that it will come up dirty.
If the court, p.o, judge ect denies you then just ride it out brother.. There will ALWAYS be weed around long after your dead, so you've got plenty of time to enjoy it. I'm speaking from experience.
Also don't trip on your results of your first test, legally, at least here in CA, your first result is not as important as the second. You can simply claim you haven't smoked since convicted, and whatever they find in the first test is residual. If the THC results are higher on your second test then your first..your fucked.

Def deal with your probation officer in a straightforward yet respectful fashion, find out what he's instructed to do. If that's not to your liking, go back to your PD to see if there are ways around.

The regulation between medical in CA and CO are completely different and treated very differently in the courts. I used to live in San Pedro and was a caregiver. Even that process is different from Colorado to California, drastically. I sure didn't have to show all the paper work that Colorado requires. California is so lax on weed it's not even funny. I lived there through all the raids too...it was one big show.
Yea, that certainly didn't work out like that for my buddy that got busted up in Weld county not too long ago. They gave him leeway on his first test but after that if they don't see your levels drop all and then go to nothing, guarantee you're getting violated. Especially considering some of his charges were cannabis related, bad idea to even push thr subject. I've been busted before myself years ago, I have a lot of personal experience with this.

Present your rec to your PO, I doubt he will tell you that you cant use cannabis as he is not qualified to be responsible for your health. Worked for me in Cali ... smoked and grew the whole 3 years on felony probation.... except for the actual jail time

Yea, same. Except they still mandated twice weekly drug testing, which legally could be dirty, for those 3 years.
